Did a great job!

I was very pleased with the (2) service technicians Travis and Derek that came out to look at the problem I was having. They were friendly, courteous, professional, prompt and very knowledgeable of their product. After they checked my attic it was discovered I had a water problem and the pipe had some corrosion/rust. American Chimney Sweep is scheduled to come back this week to install new Chimney flashing.

The team from American Chimney sweeps was very professional and thurough. Two things really stood out: 1. When one of the individuals called out of work for a two man job, the other showed up at my house and apologized. This went a long way for me and was extremely professional. 2. When they found other problems with the chimney, they took pictures and explained to me what was going on. I highly recommend American Chimney and Duct Cleaning!

At the time I was expecting to get an estimate for this project, but the techs came ready to work. Perhaps a disconnect between the company and me. Any way, the techs listened carefully to my concerns regarding cleaning my gutters and downspouts. They then informed me of their approach to cleaning my gutters and the service charge upfront, and that the removal of bird nests is an additional charge. While I had the techs here, I decided to go ahead with the project. I had seen evidence of growing grass protruding from as well as rainwater flowing over the top of my gutters, which was the reason for wanting my gutters cleaned. As I watched the techs go about their work, I saw not only grass, dirt and debris but, to my uneasiness, a couple of bird nests and a small dead bird flow from a front downspout. The techs worked quickly and efficiently to clear my gutters and downspouts, and left no mess behind. I would use this company again.

My wife picked this company because of their reviews. They even offered to do the work the same day. Unfortunately a no show. But they did call her mentioning that they were running late and asked if we could reschedule. So again, they show up late on the reschedule, so I couldn't be there. But they did call and they did show up. According to my wife, the work they did was good, so no complaints on the quality of their work as it's actually pretty good and they're quick and efficient once they do show up. While there, they noticed we had an issue with the screening and offered to fix it for an additional cost. Fair enough right? Well they told her that if she paid cash up front, she could get it at a cheaper cost and they would come back at a later date to finish the work. So she paid them up front and it was more than a week before they would finally show up to finish the work. They gave my wife an appointment time, in which they no showed. Their excuse this time was because of rain (no rain that day, but rain was forecasted). Fair enough, so she agrees on a reschedule date. To no surprise, they're a no show. So my wife calls them again and they give an excuse that they lost their cell phone in a chimney and would have to reschedule or be late. So my wife gave them the ultimatum, being that she already paid the money up front and asked them if they are actually showing up or just taking her money. So they finally decide to show up to complete the work. I actually get to meet them and they seemed friendly and courteous. They even completed the job in less than an hour. So as for the quality of their work, I'm perfectly fine with it. But because of their punctuality and communication, I don't see us using them again.

Performed the work in a professional and efficient manner. Removed shoes before coming into the house. Cleaned gas fireplace, pellet stove and chute. Left both areas clean.

Friendly service, polite and professional and did great work! I highly recommend them!

Great service by the two service reps. Explained what had to be done in understandable terms. Work was excellent. Only problem was they overbook their techs and arrival was well beyond the projected time on both visits.

Owner was kind.

Had some difficulties with scheduling due to rain issues, but overall I was very pleased with the work that was done. The guys that showed up at my house were very courteous and more importantly they cleaned up after themselves. One other note is that due to rescheduling issues and delays they did give me a discount on my final bill.

They were very friendly, did an excellent job, and quoted me very, very reasonable prices when it turned out I needed a new crown and cap for my chimney, which they are coming back to fix tomorrow.
