Description of Work: I replaced the original single pane glass bow window with a new triple pane bay window. the living room's noticeable warmer and the window is just gorgeous. All my neighbors say so.The sales pitch was quick and I never feel pressured at all which is a great change from some of the other quotes I got. I got 6 quotes overall and Wow was the second lowest. The quality of service put them over the edge from the sales person to the installer to the admin person who promptly answered my emails I felt like they truly wanted to earn my business and do a great job. Only downside sales person neglected to tell me that seat and trim-would need to be painted as it comes in an oak finish from the factory . Now that the window is painted it just looks stunning. Very pleased with my purchase.

Description of Work: Windows on Washington replaced ten windows and two sliding glass doors in my townhouse. The price I paid included grids, a different interior/exterior color, replacement of a rotted rotted window sill (not the correct terminology), and addition of trim around a door someone else put in a few years ago. | |I was pleased with them start-to-finish. There were a few bumps along the way, as you'd expect with any major home improvement project, but they handled them with grace. I would definitely use them again. Read on for more details. | |Windows on Washington (Zach in particular) made the sales process relatively painless. They didn't use high-pressure tactics and were very cooperative and informative as I was comparing alternatives (different windows and different vendors). I felt like they were advising me, not selling to me. | |Their prices were not low, but they were in line with vendors of the same caliber (i.e., window/door specialists). Some of the extras I mentioned in the first paragraph contributed to the cost. | |Their installers were polite and professional. At my request near the end of installation day, they went back to one window that's about 12 ft. up (out of the reach of my tallest ladder) to clean smudges and reinstall the blinds. That was not part of our agreement, so I appreciated the extra effort. | |I noticed a week or two after installation that a few screens had small tears. I was a little disappointed that the installation crew hadn't noticed/taken proactive steps to correct this, but when I called WoW, they immediately agreed that the screens should be pristine and ordered replacements at no cost. No hassle to me, other than having to make the call and send a few photos. The replacements arrived earlier than expected and were installed quickly and professionally. | | | |

Description of Work: Replaced 8 builder grade windows with Okna windows and foamed any gaps plus provided matching color clad aluminium sills and molding. All aluminum was caulked with matching colored caulk.

Description of Work: We interviewed four other companies prior to contracting with Windows on Washington for our windows and two door replacements. Their price point was mid range in what we were quoted from others. The biggest reason we went with this company was that a co-worker of mine had said good things about their price and service. We've had the windows in for about two weeks now. They look great. The house is much more quiet than it was before and the comfort level is also much better. I will plan to update this again in a few months after we've seen a few summer electric bills.

Description of Work: Windows on Washington installed two new entry systems in my home. I could not be happier with the results but I was not surprised by the outcome as we worked with WoW a few years ago to replace about 30 windows and they did an excellent job then also. In my opinion, they are the best. Hands down. By the way, the front door is striking and the look and quality exceeded my expectations.

Description of Work: Windows on Washington (WoW), and in this case Brandon, continue to demonstrate excellent customer service--most importantly after we purchased their product. Today--on Easter Sunday--we thought a window/and sash we were cleaning malfunctioned, keeping us from putting the window back in before Easter Dinner guests arrived. I emailed the folks at WoW I know and one of them agreed on a Sunday to come by a take a look and most likely fix the problem (on his own time). In the end--through some Easter Miracle probably--I ended up fixing the sash before he arrived, but the fact they were available speaks to their attentiveness to customer needs. Bottom line: all my future siding, roof, gutter, and window neeeds will go through them--save yourself some time from what we have learned and do the same.

Description of Work: Windows on Washington is going to install a sliding glass door for us. Our previous experience with them was having replacement windows (OKNA Brand) installed. The product is excellent and the installation crew is the best we've ever had for a home improvement project. The work is scheduled for mid to late March, 2015.

Description of Work: WoW removed the existing roof, replaced all damaged plywood and any other existing damage, installed a new roof system, new attic ventilation, new skylights, new larger, heavier gage gutters, and new larger, heavier gauge downspouts. This is a great company, with technical expertise beyond all other roofers we interviewed. The details of the materials and the installation are important to them and should be to all homeowners, because if anything is done incorrectly on the installation, or if the wrong materials are used, it can void the warranty on your new roof. They do charge more for their installations than others, but of the five installers we interviewed, only they had the technical competence to see that the required ventilation calculations were completed and the new roof system installed with adequate ventilation to not void the roof materials warranty. We have used them for window and front door replacements, and intend to use them again.

Description of Work: Windows on Washington was a very strong contender for our business for 15+ new windows for our 25+ year old home. Brandon was thoroughly professional and provided us with a great deal of information as well as being timely in his responsiveness. In the end, we went with a company that was less expensive by about $2000 (total price for our work was just a bit above $12000) and had installed windows for 4 of our neighbors and had received great service from to all of them. I would highly recommend you consider Windows on Washington if you need windows.
