Description of Work: They picked up our antique upright piano in Midlothian, VA and delivered it to our home in Urbanna, VA about 75 miles away. Loading and unloading each took about 5 minutes. They were very professional & really knew what they are doing.

Description of Work: Everything went as promised and as planned. When an overhead permanently mounted awning crossbar was in the way, the problem was successfully dealt with. The quality of the service was excellent. If the baby grand ever gets moved again, Jerry will do it.

Description of Work: I contacted Famous Jerry's to move my piano between my living room and the kitchen while wood flooring was installed in my home. I got a call back within a few hours with a better price than two other vendors who were also on Angie's List. They were courteous and efficient during both moves and didn't ask for payment until after they put my piano back in place. I would recommend them highly.

+ 0 moreJerry and his movers were excellent, quick, respectful and reasonable in price. Six months after he was also hired to move my very expensive and heavy kitchen furniture to the second floor. That time he used a lift to go through my second story deck’s sliding glass door window. They also assembled the furniture.
Description of Work: They moved my piano and hauled it away. My piano was on the second floor and had to go down a U-shaped stairwell. It was tight and difficult for the first company I called and they could not do it.

Description of Work: Thanks to Jerry and his team, I was able to get an antique piano moved from the (Re)Habitat for Store to a home 10 miles away in Williamsburg. Jerry and his team were prompt, professional, and knew how to handle PIANOS. One false move and this gorgeous and beautiful instrument would have been destroyed. Thanks to Jerry and his crew, beautiful music was being created in the home within minutes of its arrival as only one or two keys seems out of tune, and may have been so before we left the store. Thanks Jerry. If you're moving a piano, I cannot imagine using just any mover. I'd recommend him to anyone.
