Handyman To The Rescue

I contacted several people requesting an estimate to remodel my bathroom, Mark (handyman to the rescue) responded first so I took a chance. He came over and was honest and upfront (I was at the house with 2 young children while my husband was at work). He was professional and explained everything very clearly. Once we agreed on a date, he started bright and early each day. He put hard work and extra effort into the bathroom. We purchased everything we wanted to be put in, when a piece was missing for the shower, Mark went back to the store and handled it for me. I'm very happy with the price and quality of work he performed. Not only would I recommend him, but I would hire him again.

We hired Mark V. to repair our deck. His price was fair and he was on time and did a good job. Previously Our deck had been stained a dark brown. After Mark had presser washed the deck most of the old stain had come off. This is why I gave him 1 star. When I told him how good it looked, I told him that if I had known that most of the brown would come off I would not have picked the color I did. I would have just gone with a oil based (Natural look )preservative. Because I never liked the dark to begin with. He said I checked with you 3 times on the color ... Yes we agreed on the color. Not blaming him . He got so angry with me that he started screaming at me saying you can F***n do it yourself . Are you always this F***n difficult to deal with? This was the first time I had stepped out back to say anything. He just kept going off in a rant that he has 35 years exp. I kept trying to tell him I wouldn't have picked that color if I had know. I wasn't trying to get him to buy anything else(that would have been on us ) He would not listen to anything I was saying, just twisting dialogue that never was said. At that point I did yell back saying if you would just stop talking and listen for one min,, He said No you listen !... I just went back in the house. I was sitting on our front porch when he was loading his van to leave, Giving me all these excesses for his tantrum . His wife driving him crazy to paint , he doesn't feel good he put having cancer cut out for 6 month because he didn't want a hole in his neck. Sorry not my problem. Now he was getting worked up again and he wants to talk to my husband. When he started complaining because of the smell of my cigarette and said "My mother died in my arms ) I was just done with this jerk, He did call my husband at work twisting everything, saying I came out and started it, screaming at him over the color . This guy will not let you talk . He will talk over you and down to you, especially if your a woman. Thankfully I started recording with my phone. This guy is a Nut case ...Needless to say we Did Not let him come back to finish the job
