"DO NOT TRUST AFFORDABLE DOOR. I contracted with Affordable Door to replace a damaged garage door at my house in Fairfax, Virginia. I paid ~$1,000 as a deposit. They told me they would likely do the work "next week". After several weeks they told me it would be two more weeks. Then again two more weeks. Finally they told me it was going to be another month. They almost never returned my phone calls. I finally told them I was canceling and requested a refund. They offered a small discount, but never a refund. I had to use a credit card charge back dispute to get a refund for the deposit."

Since then Southernwood has continually expanded its service base, extending its client list to include home buyers and owners, as well as a range of local and national builders. In 2006, the brothers formed Southernwood Framing, quickly growing the company within the residential housing market from about 150 homes per year to its current operating pace of 800+ homes per year. They continually demonstrate their ability to perform a quality job at an efficient pace, while always remaining a team player in the hectic world of new construction. Expanding the company further, Andy and F.D. formed Southernwood Roofing and Siding in February of 2012. However there was a leak in my newly installed roof. Each time I called to complain, Southernwood responded within 2 days. Each time they responded, it was something different, to much water in one area, to much debris, and a poor design. They even offered to provide a quote to rectify the poor design. I had someone else find the source of the leak - a hole in the flashing. This one little detail missed created hundreds of dollars in repairs, and could have been avoided."
