 + -1 moreI only write a review when a company has gone above and beyond with their service. I know there are so many companies to choose from but if you want an honest, fair, professional, caring and truly knowledgeable company this one is 100% the one to choose. You can't go wrong with them. I used the text message option to get in contact (that was a great option) with them and within an hour they showed up at the door ready to help with my tree problem. I learned more about trees in 10 mins than I've known my whole life. If you want the best company out there you definitely should use Virginia Tree Specialist. 🌳 If there was a 10 star 🌟 rating I would pick that because that's what they deserve

 + -1 moreThis was initially a one-day job that became two due to the necessity of tree climbing at times, instead of bucket-truck usage. The Outcome: What a difference! Since the completion of the work, there have been several days/nights with very, very strong winds. However, due to the company's detailed pruning, there was very, very little yard debris for me to collect. Additionally, there were several tree stumps (old & new) that were ground; along with targeted trees removed. This has resulted in a fantastic yard improvement (front, sides, & back). The company/crew has a system of precision, skill, experience, and focus that is quite evident!

 + 0 moreAll of the work was done in less than a day and it really transformed the property. His crew was very nice and a pleasure to work with. I would say that VTS' rates are about middle of the road, but the value of their knowledge, the quality of their equipment, and their speed and professionalism far outweigh what you might get with a lower bid.
Description of Work: I have a little over 1/2 acre that is mostly surrounded by trees and quite a bit of underbrush. The owner, Patrick, was beginning another job across the street and I asked him to look at my property when he got his crew situated. Once he came over, we walked around and looked at everything that needed to be done. Patrick pointed out a lot of things that I did not realize and made several suggestions that were very helpful. His crew of four men came in the next business day as promised, and they did a ton of work that I couldn't have done with the equipment that I have. VTS has some very good equipment. In all, they cleared out all the underbrush around my property, fell two 25-30-foot trees and a bunch of smaller trees, trimmed everything to a little above head-level, and ground several stumps. Then, they cut and stacked all of the extra hard wood for splitting, poured all the mulched tree matter into the tree beds and spread it around to inhibit the undergrowth.

They gave me a really good price, showed up on time, got right to work and cleaned up well and we are very happy with the service.

I didn't hear anything from them for over a month, but when I called them they came over in a little over a week. They did a great job and were very professional. They have a man lift that can get the guys up into the trees to do a good job.
Description of Work: Removed oak tree and ground the stump. Pruned several large trees.
