Description of Work: Got a quote for some minor tree trimming that was too high and included some unnecessary work. Had planned to use a big deal coupon that I had purchased. I felt that they had inflated the price to recoup more because of the coupon. I decided to take a loss on the coupon rather than give them my business.

Description of Work: heavy trimming of 3 large trees - not easily accessible to street (trucks). They did an overall nice joj - there was some damage to a nearby ceder - but by this season (spring 2013) it has mostly healed. They cleaned all debris, arrived on time and my neighbor (whose yard was alos affected by the trees and who shared the cost of the service) was also favorably impressed [they were home during the event; I was not]

Description of Work: Tommy's Tree Service(Tommy Junior) came to my house and gave me an Angies list, special discounted quote for the tree damage in my back yard and they seemed like a reputable company but then would rarely return calls and after 5 weeks I gave up and then contacted another tree company who got the job done only 2 days after I called them for almost the identical price. Very dissapointing and this is the kind of thing that hurts the reputation of all contractors in terms of integrity, professional communications and over-all reliability.

+ -1 moreTommy and is crew are very knowledgable about trees in terms of how much trimming is appropriate for each particular species of tree. Their climber is very experienced. Crew conducted cutting of upper limbs in a very safe and methodical manner. Clean up of debris was extremely through.

+ -1 moreTommy and his guys climbed up the tree and carefully lowered the limbs down with ropes. They were safe, clean and completely professional. I have recommended them to numerous people that have used them.
Description of Work: They thinned out a few tree limbs that hung over our yard and chipped the leftovers into their truck.

Description of Work: They took down six big trees that were overlooking our neighborhood's fence. Previously one of our trees had fallen down our neighbor's fence and so we wanted to get them taken care of.
