The rear window in my car was completely shattered due to falling debris Sunday morning. Luckily the car was still drivable, so I drove it home. Note that the rear window is tempered glass, which crumbles into small pieces, rather than razor sharp shards, if impacted sharply, in order to prevent injury to the vehicle occupants. Because of this safety feature, the window was completely destroyed, so the job was a complete window replacement. I called McCoy's shortly after they opened Monday morning, and they obtained the replacement glass and arrived at my house early that afternoon, slightly ahead of the promised time. He was done and gone in about an hour, well within the time estimate, and after waiting one hour for the glue to finish curing, the car was drivable before 3pm! My rear window contains both defroster and FM antenna elements, and both of these items worked perfectly in the new window. I could not be happier with McCoy's service in every way and I recommend them enthusiastically -- they are friendly, quick, competent, and reasonably priced. I am a repeat customer based on the quality of my first experience with them replacing a windshield broken by a deer in 2007. If I ever need auto glass repair in the future, McCoy's has my business!
