We bought a new home in september of 2016 , and Keys heating and air conditioning was the company that installed the HVAC system, our first winter in the home the heating was not pushing warm air, we set up a service call, they responded and had a tech out within 48 hours. The tech had told us that the coolant was low and he refilled it at no cost. 2 1/2 years later during the summer, our AC system stopped pushing cold air. We called and again they had a tech out the very next business day, this time around there was also a problem with the coolant levels, the tech said that there was a small leak but could not find where it was. Then without any notice from the phone call to schedule the work or from the tech before work began, we were slapped with a 300$ invoice. Prior to the tech starting any work we asked and the tech confirmed that we were under a 10 year warranty. Not sure exactly what the warranty covers, but a company should stand behind their work, and a coolant leak in a new home after less than 3 years is something that needs to be addressed.

Everything went smoothly. The owner was willing to send one of his crews an hour to reach my house from Sperrysville, VA since there are not many York dealers in the Shenandoah Valley. Two men completed the repairs by noon and the system is back under normal operation and working well. Very appreciative of the efforts considering we were without A/C for two weeks.
Description of Work: Replace evaporator coil.

After securing several estimates, Mark was, by far, the lowest price. Plus, he came highly recommended by a friend in the industry. He noticed two existing deficiencies that other contractors had failed to mention, and he corrected those deficiencies at no additional cost. He offered to come back when the house is resided to tuck in a line, and he will return next fall to check the system prior to winter heating. The systems have cut my bills in half and raised the comfort level considerably. His customer service is top-notch although he can be a bit hard to reach as his cell phone is not set up for messages and his business phone usually goes to email. His wife responds to the business phone, and she is very helpful. His staff, including grandson Zach, are professional and friendly.
Description of Work: Installed two new YORK heat pumps and thermostats.
