James and his crew did a beautiful job and cleaned up everything afterwards. I was very pleased with the job they did.

I contacted Mr. Gorman to explain that we had just purchased a home and that there were three dead trees that needed to be cut down, two of which were capable of hitting not only our house, but either of the neighbors as well. It was agreed that Mr Gorman would come out the following day to provide an estimate. Due to his distance from our property, I asked if it would be possible for him to simply call me from the property with the estimate, and if agreeable, to cut the trees down at that time. And this is exactly what occurred. Mr. Gorman took extreme care to drop the trees in a way that kept all debris out of yards, as well as off of the nearby powerlines. I could not have asked for, or reasonably expected, any better approach. On all counts, Mr. Gorman was a consummate professional, very knowledgable, extremely economical, and a pleasure to work with. In the future, when I need tree or landscape service, there is no one else that I would call.

I had about 1/4 acre on a steep incline hill covered with a mix of live and dead trees as well as nasty sticker bushes, poison ivy, and such. A builder was going to start contruction of a new house on the lot next to mine and I wanted to remove this overgrowth while I had access to that lot, as it was easier and cheaper to do before the house was built. I hired the Gorman company and they did a timely, excellent job removing the trees, regrading, and reseeding the hill before the builder started on the new house. They were pleasant to work with and did a thorough job. I also hired them while they had their equipment here to remove some trees on the other side of my property that were overhanging my neighbors house. No problems whatsoever.

James Gorman did a very professional job taking down the tree and did a fantastic job with the cleanup. My yard and nearby flower bed were unscathed from the work. We decided to leave the stump removal until the fall. At that time, we plan to mark the utilities and to decide whether we'll plant a new tree in the spot or fill the hole. We intend to have James Gorman do that work as well.

Pleasantly surprised. The owner came by our house a few times. I meet him when I was home one Saturday morning. He presented himself well and offered an estimate. He had performed work on another neighbor's home and to her satisfaction. His original estimate was $1250. He came back within three days and said his crew was going to be in the neighborhood and he would drop the price to $950. He came back the next day and performed all the work we had talked about. He was present while his crew was there and did a lot of the work himself. They cleaned up all the debris and neatly stacked the wood from the dead tree.
