This is the second time in the last six months that I have used John Dexters Company. The last time was for a good pump and this time for a water treatment system. John Dexter took care of my pressure tank/water pump issue that was replaced by Michael and Son in Harrisonburg just 15 months before with a $4200 fee and done incorrectly. Not only did he get a warranty exchange on the pump the previous company installed incorrectly, he also made sure we had the right water pressure in our house, FINALLY! I would highly recommend and will not be calling anyone else ever!!

We had four serious issues, three of which three other plumbers had failed to solve. Mr. Dexter solved every issue, gave us an upfront price for each one, and did not leave until he certified that our problems were resolved. I felt very comfortable using this company. The serviceman (owner) was very knowledgeable and professional about his work. He was polite and he explained the work process with clarity. Although the heater only has a 6 year warranty, Dexter gave me a 10 year parts and labor warranty for the heater. I am very satisfied with the work of Dexter Wells and Plumbing.

I originally called to have a new sump pump installed to take care of what I thought was a failing french drain. I received a call withing seconds of submitting my request for work, the lady was very friendly and offered for the technician to come by to give me an estimate within the hour. Once the technician arrived he found that I did not need a new sump pump installation but rather an existing sump pump needed replacing, he had all the supplies on his truck fixed the problem and I am a happy camper. I highly recommend Dexter Wells & Plumbing and will continue to use them when I have encounter issues.

Originally I called him about a $300 maintenance job on a neutralizing apparatus; however, he soon determined my problems were with the pump and its accompanying tanks and further examination revealed inappropriate installation by previous owners of electrical switches and wiring. The well casing also had corroded through. The whole apparatus, well pump, wiring, holding tanks, electrical switch, etc., had to be replaced and 80 feet of pvc sleeve had to be installed inside the well casing. The cost was several thousand dollars but the entire system is functioning like it should.The job was expertly done and he went the extra mile to help me find financing.

I was away on a business trip when the work was to be done so I provided a not to exceed dollar amount pre-approval. Lo and behold the job cost the not to exceed amount. Yes, the cost was high, but the work was prompt and well done.

Hired Dexter's wells and plumbing cause our well system was in need of a makeover as well as a bad well pump. John was out the next day and is very knowledgeable in his trade, the man knows what he is doing and doesn't try and upsell anything witch is hard to come by very respectful and honest. John did an amazing job will be adding them to my book of contractors at the top of the list if your having any plumbing/well issues don't hesitate to give them a call.
