I lived in Arizona where an inspection includes a drippy faucet or burned our light bulb so to be fair, I am not sure what requirements Virginia has. We were not here but sent our son-in-law to participate. Since we have been in, our pipes bang when the water is turned on. Our electric patio screen was ripped up the side. The plug unit behind the tv that was left is literally falling out of the wall and taking wall with it. One of the blinds that we will be changing anyway, was not screwed in and I tried to open it and the entire thing fell on me. I have a box of electrical wires in the closet in a box. The box cover was broken, lying on the floor and all the 30+ wires were hanging out to the floor. The only other thing I can recall and probably too cosmetic was each bath room had towel bats, none match and also falling out of the wall. They had obviously repainted and their was paint on everything, light fixtures, cabinets etc. These things would have been noted in a AZ inspection but as I said, maybe not required in VA.

Everything went very well. The inspection was very thorough. The inspector was prompt, on time and very professional. I highly recommend this company.

Very professional. All of our questions were answered. We are moving from another state and to far away to be present for the inspection. We were allowed to have a phone conference with our agent and the inspector in order for me to ask questions and to be able to hear for myself what was found. This was such excellent service and allowed me as an "out-of-towner" to still be as present as I could. We would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a home inspection. Great Work!!!!

Greg was fantastic! He worked with us every step of the way! He was professional with not only the inspection but with taking his time with us making sure we understood every thing. Our inspection did find a couple issues with the home and he not only helped find those but went above as somethings we were unfamiliar with and he explained where they were, what they effected and an idea of a fix. His report was very detailed and easy to understand. After the fact he continued to go above and beyond; his report email contained memberships to programs that help us find recommended contractors and another program to help us keep track of maintenance and repairs. That was unexpected and very helpful! His price was about $20 higher than another company we spoke to but just from the first phone call I could tell his detail report would be the one for us. That extra 20 was very minimum and well worth with such a large investment in our home. I feel much better knowing that my new to me home is and will be kept at tip top shape. Thank you Greg! I would recommend him and if we ever buy again we will use him again ourselves.

Greg did an outstanding job! He was very professional and detailed in his inspection, pointing out things that could have easily been missed if rushed. He was very thorough by checking all appliances, plumbing, electrical, and everything internal and external to the house. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

When my wife and I arrived at the appointment time, Greg had already been onsite for some time and completed most of the exterior inspection. We didn't fell rushed through the process and Greg went above to explain the findings and took time to answer all our questions. The use of the thermograph camera to identify missing insulation and disconnected air ducts helped to identify heating/cooling efficiencies that weren't immediately noticeable during the first walk throughs. At the conclusion of the test, Greg provided a thumb drive with the photos taken during the inspection, and the full report and summary was provided the same day in an easy-to-follow format for us future homeowners. Greg also set in place the "radon test" and will provide results within 48-hrs of test completion.

very thorough, prompt, explains everything and gives very thorough report. he doesn't mind when the buyer asks alot of questions and gives them a usb drive and emails a report the same day.
