Description of Work: Mr. Butler delivered a cord of wood to me. He was very prompt in returning my call, was very courteous and the delivery was on time and as promised. I thought his prices were a bit high, which is why he received an overall rating of a B, but would otherwise recommend him highly.

Description of Work: Yard clean-up mostly focused on picking up leaves. Original cleanup was exceptional, but the extra charge for the Vaccum truck was unexpected (but worth it). Biggest negative was a minor issue of the Vac Truck not arriving on time and the crew needing to return to Vaccum up the leave pile. | |Overall good service. Will likely use again.

Description of Work: I don't think I received a full cord. By the time I stacked wood, it looked slightly less than 3/4 cord. There were considerable filler light wood, not oak or maple. Somewhat disappointing. This is the second vendor I used and both times, I have been less than impressed with what I got.

Description of Work: I hired Butler's Tree Service this past winter (2015) for delivering and stacking firewood. It was a last-minute request, but Mr. Butler and his assistant were able to fit me in because they were going to be in my area. I was amazed by the professionalism and thoroughness of the service - firewood stacked perfectly, and some tips on how to improve the stress load on my firewood holder. He even gave me some amazing insight about a couple of sick trees on my property, and I hope to hire him in 2016 to remove a tree at the back of my property. Overall, I thought Mr. Butler was well worth the cost (I can't remember exact cost - around $160, I think), and the wood has been top notch. HIGHLY recommend.

Description of Work: Delivery of firewood. It was late in the season to be ordering firewood and I had trouble finding a nearby source. Butler's was able to deliver what I needed on short notice. My only issue is that while I was told the firewood was seasoned, I'm not convinced it actually was at least not all of it. I would probably use them again.

Delivery was on-time, they had no problems with stacking in my back yard and also offered some solicited recommendations on how to deal with a white birch tree in my front yard. I'll be bringing them back out in February to work on the tree as well. | |Knowledgeable, prompt and competitive prices.
