We contacted Chimney Cricket to clean 2 chimneys in a rental home we were moving out of. We had never used the stoves but the lease required it. Mr. Swanson came out, inspected and determined that they did not need cleaning so only charged us an inspection fee. He could have charged us the full cleaning fee and we would have never known the difference. This man has honesty and integrity. We highly recommend him

Mr. Swanson arrived on time, climbed our peaked roof and was done quickly. Great job. wouldn't know he was even here. Always a pleasure and number 1 in the area for good reason.

One of my fireplaces hadn't been used in 10 years, and the other was badly in need of cleaning after two seasons of chimney swifts having moved in. Jeff cleaned out both; the one with a decade of disuse had a pile of nesting inside that impressed even him. He took measurements for the cap and returned a few days later to install it. In addition to being good at his job, Jeff is an interesting person. Prepare to be impressed and entertained!

Apparently okay, since we cannot see all of the areas cleaned. The provider was very personable and interesting to talk with. He was polite and did his work fairly quickly with no mess left behind.

Mr. Swanson came when he said he would and went about cleaning three flues of birds nests, etc,. (We had not had them cleaned in too long.) Only one flue had a cap on it. We authorized him to cap the other two. He installed the cap he had on his truck and returned the next day to install the second one. This morning (Sunday) we called him because there was obviously some creature dead in one flue - and, indeed, he came right over and removed a squirrel which had got in between his visits. Of course I will use him again and sooner, rather than later!

Arrived promptly and cleaned the chimney. Checked the interior and exterioe of the chimney. Told me how often I should have the chimney cleaned abd was ver hrlpful with oyher informstion.

In all fairness to him, this fellow did not realize how far the distance was from his business (house) to mine. So he wasn't in the best mood when he got to my home. He was not very professional in his demeanor, although he did do a decent cleaning job. I wouldn't put his work down, although he was rushing to get the work done and, thank goodness I was watching him line-up the wood stove pipe when he tried to re-attach it, because he had it sitting very crooked ... he adjusted it at my request until it was straight, but I noticed after he left that he didn't re-insert one of the bolts (because he had trouble lining it up straight!), so although the pipe looks okay, he had to have known that he didn't actually screw the bolt in, but just left it looking as though it was screwed in. That makes me think that I wouldn't be able to trust his work totally.

He called first to say he could come earlier, if that was okay with me. it was. He recognized that he had been to my house before. He cleaned my wood burning fireplace quickly and completely. Told me depending on my usage it could be cleaned every two years. The price seems fair, and I was very satisfied.

He arrived early and went right to work. He cleaned a very dirty chimney and completed an inspection within 30-45 minutes. His equipment appeared to be more modern than sweeps we have used in the past. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

When I called for an appointment my call was answered right away ( no need to leave a message). Appointment was made for the next week. Chimney sweet was on time, respectful, polite and friendly. He was done in about a half hour and left the house in the same shape was when he arrived--no soot, mess, etc. for me to clean up.

He arrived on time and performed wonderfully. He was neat and respectful of our home and property. The price was fair. We highly recommend him and will use his services again.
