Movers were on time. Worked with me to stay on budget. Kept me calm, and trust me, that is no easy feat. I will definitely use Big Move VA, for all my future moving needs.

Did not use them - they do not do work in my area (city of Richmond).

Movers polite, respectful of property, very skilled in compactly loading the items moved into the trailer and then into the storage facility. They were late arriving but owner did notify me by telephone that they were running late. The owner also was not able to get as large a vehicle as had planned so movers took more time to load so everything could fit in one trip.

I don't understand why she would set up the move and then not show. When I called, she NEVER answered the phone. If they can't do the job, tell me and let me find someone else. The disrupted lives were inexcusable . Finding someone on short notice was really difficult. Before booking with Big Move originally I looked on Angie's List to find reliable movers. The overall review for this company was glowing. All A's. I thought I was in good hands. Our experience could not have been worse with Big Move. I recommend avoiding these people at all costs if you need reliable service!

They were great. Salima was very responsive and responsible. They came on very short notice, dealt easily with some complicated maneuvers to get the offices moved and were friendly and professional. She was flexible on the price, and her helpers were very good and nice as well. Excellent moving service!

It was a very difficult move, but not because of them. They handled it very well. Selma was my go-to person that I definitely trusted. She had a guy with her that stood out, Chai, who was also excellent. I would request them. I would definitely say if you get Selma and Chai you're in good hands.

From the beginning, the contact with Salma (the owner) was great! She suggested since it was a short move, to go with the 16' truck and 3 men instead of 2 men and 26'- because the price difference in the truck would allow me to get the extra man at the same price. That's the kind of thinking I appreciate! And seeing how they were able to maneuver the truck really drove the point home. There was a light rain, so they were running a bit behind, but Salma called and informed me well ahead of time, and said that she'd be onsite to make up for the slight delay. When they arrived, the assessed the situation, then they rigged up a tarp to make sure that nothing was exposed to the elements- another thing that's nice to see when someone is moving your valuables. The move went great- they packed the items with care and were continually moving and hustling- just what you want to see with the movers. But they didn't let speed get in the way of care and quality. They made suggestions when appropriate, and really listened to concerns and adjusted accordingly. I hate to sound like a cheerleader, but there was really nothing negative to add. It was even to the point that the size of the move was miscalculated, and she took the hit and wouldn't accept anything additional- just said to give the men more of a tip if I felt the need- which I did! They were astonishingly personable yet professional all the time, and I appreciated the work of the movers just as much as her leadership. I'd definitely use Big Move VA again! I was skeptical, because I'd not heard of them before, and you really don't know who to trust with your move. I can say that I'm glad to have trusted Salma and Big Move VA, and would (and have) unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone seeking a move.

I couldn't have asked for more courteous and careful service and would absolutely recommend Salma, the owner, to anyone looking for help with a move.

The move included boxes, furniture, etc. It went very well. They are very efficient and punctual. The whole team was professional and friendly. They only do state-wide moving in Virginia, so if you are moving within the state I would absolutely recommend them.

They were prompt, efficient and friendly. They were very conscious of the time because they charged by the hour. They cared for our furniture even more than we do. They were very helpful and very professional. They asked me to get another quote or two when I was doing my search for movers because they wanted to make sure they were giving me a good estimate. You can't beat their price.

They shrink wrapped all of my furniture plus used heavy duty blankets for extra protection. They even protected my floors with blankets. They offered great ideas as to where to put large items I was not sure of where to put.
