+ -1 moreThe compressor in the old unit died and definitely needed to be replaced. Danny clearly explained the cost-benefit options of replacing the whole system versus paying for the costly replacement compressor with a limited warranty. We also needed to consider what type of refrigerant the old system had (R-22) since it is being phased out in favor of a more efficient and environmentally friendly refrigerant, R410A. It would have been more costly in the long term to continue servicing the old system with out-of-date refrigerant. The warranty on the new system is 10 years versus a one year warranty on the replacement compressor. We are extremely satisfied with the new system because it cools the house much better and it is less costly to operate (more efficient). Thank you Danny for the excellent customer service and support!
