FIND SOMEONE ELSE. We used JW electric upon recommendation from our pool installer. The owner came out to provide a detailed quote, but the team he sent afterwards were inexperienced and unprofessional--they required help from both myself and landscapers (you read that correct). The job took twice as long as estimated (an issue with sequencing other parts of the project) they failed 3 building inspections (they don't know chesterfield county building codes which is a safety risk) and they are trying to charge me an additional $2,500 for installing 3 extra outlets (which they put in the wrong place). They are bad in every possible way--RUN.

NO GOOD. JW electric was a recommendation from our pool installer. They are inexperienced and unprofessional--they required help from both myself and landscapers and were drilling holes in my suburban home at 1:30am (you read that correct). They do not know Chesterfield county building codes and failed 3 building inspections--some of which included not grounding the pool equipment--a huge safety risk for our family. The job took twice as long as estimated which hurt our overall construction timeline. To top it off they sent a bill for an additional $2,500 above the quoted price for installation of 3 extra outlets. Save yourself time, money and heartache and find ANYONE else!

I have been calling JW for over a decade, so when I moved to my new house, they agreed to handle all electrical projects, even though the new house was a long drive for them. They still arrived on time, and displayed excellent behavior, as well as doing the job perfectly. The work was finished in a single day, and they vacuumed up the mess created by the work. They are the only electrical contractor I will call.
