After a disastrous first attempt at repair of my old HVAC unit with Tony's Heating and Air, I called for two bids for a new unit, one from Neil Jernigan at Airmaxx Mechanical, Inc. and one from Woodfin. Neil came right out within 6 hours of my call and met with the tenant and promptly notified me that the unit would be expensive to repair and was more than 10 years old and "builder grade." All this was true and accurate. He warned that repair was " throwing good money after bad" and I agreed. Within 24 hours he and his team were removing the old unit and installing the new! He made special payment arrangements for me as I was a "return customer" and I paid by personal check on the date agreed. He followed up with the tenants to make sure all was well. I would use him again in the future without question. The difference in the bid with Woodfin was $1000+ higher!!!! Plus they could not install a new unit for two weeks! The tenant was so happy with Neil's good service!
Description of Work: Evaluated the non-working HVAC unit and replaced it within 24 hours of my phone call.
