+ 3 moreJohn was easy to communicated with, very knowledgeable, and expeditious. He showed up when he was expected and was competitively priced. Genuinely a nice person, he goes the extra mile. When he heard we were having concerns with other ongoing projects he investigated the issues and offered professional advise or simple corrected the problem. He was able to recommend other professionals to interview for jobs that were out of his scope. At the end of the work day all of his supplies were clean and stored tidily out of sight. We are very pleased with the work he has done and plan to use his skills in the future. We highly and happily recommend John.
Description of Work: Replaced rotten deck support footers on our two story deck. Painted shed. Installed to exterior lights.

+ -1 moreFabulous. He arrived based on my timing needs. removed shower cartridge observing slight breakage, installed new cartridge he provided. Pressure tested to check for leaks, listened to pipe area using his stethoscope. I had turned off the water and drained the pipes in the house when I discovered a no-water situation in that shower, so I likely prevented further damage. Highly recommend John for most any home repair need.
Description of Work: Provide and replace broken shower cartridge likely due to frozen pipe. Determined no other pipe leak using stethoscope and pressure testing technique.

+ 4 moreJohn Seipel is magnificent at finding problem sources in timely fashion and fixing them economically giving reasonable estimates of cost and time involved. Very professional and creative, willing to work within your budget, deck was huge project, did fabulous job as usual. Can not recommend more highly.
Description of Work: John Seipel has performed many handyman projects in exemplary fashion over 5+years and I continue to call on him for most any project: doubled deck area per our specs replacing top boards adding electrical; remodeled bathroom, found & fixed broken plumbing vent pipe that was dripping in wall causing ceiling stain, installed crown moulding, wall board wall and ceiling repair and painting, electrical problem diagnosis and repair, found mouse entry point (around dryer vent) & sealed it off, repaired faulty dishwasher drain leak and replaced rotten under-counter floor board, installed complex ceiling fan, installed chimney cap, minor roofing repairs, installed downspout from upper gutter to lower gutter, repaired leaking shower plumbing line, found & repaired french drain failure & built waterproof window well with drain to prevent outside water re-entry, repaired water damaged wall board, replaced sump pump & connected sump pump drain line to french drain and more.
