His work never required a call back, and has always been on time and professional. He does what he says he is going to do. He cleaned up perfectly. He was fine. It?s not his prices that keep me going back, I think it?s his ability to get the job done and do it right.

I've used them for years because they always responsive to when I need them and they always come quickly when I need them and they always done a decent job. But there have been some problems since the thing was done, the last experience I wasn't totally satisfied.

Replaced a powder room standard sink faucet that I provided. It took about an hour and a half with the usual obstacles. $335 seemed excessive but the job was done correctly and I'm satisfied with the work. I've used Seth Butler before and he has always done excellent work but he is expensive.

He arrived a few minutes early, was completely professional, and pleasant. He double-checked on the work to be done, so we were all clear on what was to be done before starting. He then proceeded to do the work, showed me the work in progress (as I had asked to see once the old wax ring was removed). He also noticed the extremely low flush on that toilet, and suggested replacing the flush valve and I agreed to that. Once he was done, he checked for leaks, caulked around the toilet, cleaned up the mess. He also asked to check for leaks under the drop tile ceiling in the basement (under the bathroom.) I was not expecting that, as he was genuinely curious and wanted to make sure it all looked dry and OK. His attitude was very positive. When I asked about a leak around our shower, he also recommended a company to do caulking. This company is also on Angie's list and is highly rated. The value for the price was very good and it was nice to have a person in the house who was competent and respectful of my home in general. I would have him back.

replace the flushing mechanism on the toilet and it works beautifully now. The floor drain parently was very block in the plumber's snake that water that was coming out apparently was coming from the air conditioner condensation drain line routed to that drain through the floor. Problems were solved.

We have used their services before. Mr. Butler comes out himself to do the work. They provide good reliable service.

After having to manually push down the flapper disk following each flush for a week, I grew irritated enough to call Mr. Butler. He came promptly the next day at the agreed upon time. It didn't take him long to spot the trouble and fix it. In addition he put some dye in the tank to check for any leakage around the seal in the bottom of the tank. Then he declared it a good toilet (40 years old) and said it should be good for another 7 years. I have used Seth in the past and find him to be honest and very talented. He is a bit pricey but I value his expertise and know he will fix the problem correctly the first time.

I really liked him. He explained things to me. He didn't overcharge me. He was very reasonable. I received good service from him. I was very pleased.

Butler Plumbing was recommended by Bell Well and Pump , a business the I recommend and trust, for a problem I am having with air in my water lines. Seth Butler came to my home promptly as scheduled. He was courteous and professional. After about an hour of evaluating , discussing and thinking about the problem, we were no closer to a cause or solution. He left me with a few packets of vegetable 'dye" to put in my toilet tanks to check for leakage even though this was doubtfully the cause of the problem. There was a follow up call to see if the test was conclusive. It was not. He said he would speak with someone who was an expert with this type of problem. I am uncertain if this happened, I never heard. I still have the problem Mr Butler told me he felt bad about presenting me with a bill without having solved my problem. I agree with that.

When I called 703-815-1800 and requested help, I stated it was not an emergency but I was scheduled the next day. I was called early the morning of the service as to anticipated arrival time and each time that was met or earlier. The first day entailed three hours work and the second day about 4 hours work. Seth remarked the two principal tasks were among the most challenging he has had to deal with in some time.

My experience with them was good. Everything was installed and sealed correctly and the quality if their work was good. They were professional, responsive and punctual.
