Description of Work: "This happened in April 2013. I called this company because we had a storm that had heavy hail. This company advertised that they gave free estimates. When he came he had a helper with him. I told him that I had a leak in my sun roof and I wanted him to look for hail damage . he got a ladder and climbed on top of the roof. He looked around and said that my roof was in find shape and he did not see any damage from the hail. He stood in the same spot right beside the ladder. There is no way he could have inspected the whole roof of the house. He said that I got the spot on the sunroom that is leaking. He told his assistant to go to the truck and get a tube of caulking. The assistant returned with a almost empty caulking tube and stated that this is all he could find. The guy with the beard that had gone on top of the roof said that that was enough for what he wanted to do. He squatted down for less than 30 seconds and said that should do it. Keep in mind that he never moved more than three feet from the ladder. As he was walking away and returning the ladder to his truck, I asked how much did I owe him. He stated that the girls in the office would send me a bill but it would not be much. Several days later I received a bill for $100.00. It was itemized as: | |Patched leak in sunroom $60.00 |Materials used for repairing roof $15.00 |Includes fuel and use of truck $25.00. |I got a ladder and went on top of the sunroom and looked all over and could not find any spot that had been repaired at all. Naturally the roof still leaked. I did what I should have done in the first place and that was call Jeff Winn, a local handyman. He found the leak where the sunroom was attacked to the house. He replaced the sunroom roof with a metal roof. Excellent job. Several people told me that not paying this bill would cost me more in lawyer's fees and time in court than the hundred dollars so I paid him. I still have a copy of the bill. "
