Excellent work

Awful.
The guy that came to measure for the estimate was late and was really rude, looking around parts of the house not being worked on and not answering direct questions or making eye contact.
The product is very nice. This review is entirely based on the service.
They scheduled the install then forgot to tell us that they rescheduled. I called the day before to confirm a time and they informed me they had changed it and the sales guy forgot to tell us. Fun. We rescheduled at a time that worked for us. The sales guy called back to reschedule again 'so we could get the best install team'.
The installers were supposed to move the furniture. We cleared all the small stuff. Installers moved the furniture out, but only moved some of it back in and none of it where it was before. They punctured the water line for the ice maker on the frig. They informed us they turned off the water to it and we would have to have it fixed. We complained and they fixed it for us.
There was little bits of carpet EVERYWHERE. They didn't clean up.
Now the best part....
My lovely little puppy decided to dig up the seam in two places (less than 24 hours install), good thing she is cute. ;-)
I found a good independent flooring company to repair. It turns out that Carpetland did not stretch the carpet. The repairman reluctantly let me know that I will likely see major buckling and rolling as the carpet ages and breathes. We are now expecting to have to spend some significant $ in the spring to have the carpet properly stretched.
Do not use Carpetland. There is no redeeming quality, use one of the other myriad of options in the area.

Ronnie listened closely to our concerns and desires for wall to wall carpeting, asked us some very good questions about pets, etc. We were impressed that he didn't try to and quot;pushand quot; a particular brand, but let us feel as many samples as we wanted (large samples, not those tiny things you find in the big box stores) and stand on the various grades of padding. He didn't try to rush us, but gave us lots of time. We gave him a copy of the scale drawing we had made of the house, which helped him give us the total price; of course he came to the house to confirm our measurements. During his visit he offered some suggestions about whether to carpet our hall (we have beautiful hardwood floors all over the house) and how it would look if we removed the carpeting in the future. We thought it interesting that he, a carpet salesman, suggested that we not carpet the hall - speaks well for his professionalism.
His installers arrived when they were supposed to, did an excellent installation, cleaned up after themselves and took all their debris. The installation was superb and we're extremely pleased with the result.
We are so pleased in fact, that we're going to have his folks install carpeting in the basement family room.

1) Installer was a no show/no call up for appointment to measure rooms.
2) Installer hung up on customer when questions about no show.
3) Very rude customer service in the actually store.
Was planning on purchasing carpet (sale piece left over on roll), but after the customer service, and installer issues we took our business elsewhere.
Would NEVER recommend.
