Description of Work: So far, they have given me some guidance on what it will take to re-upholster my favorite chair. They gave me a rough cost estimate and let me bring home some fabric books so I can choose next to my other furniture. The whole experience was good and we will definitely go with them to get the job done.

+ -1 moreI left two old winged chairs that were in rough condition. They reworked the springs and padding and made new cushions. And they did a beautiful job upholstering these two old veteran chairs. The chairs were completely transformed and look great in my living room. These folks are honest, warm, friendly and highly skilled in a dying craft. The cost would have been less if I had not selected very high quality fabric, so don't let the cost keep you away.

Description of Work: They have a disorganized sample area but if you spend time you can find what the fabric you want. They work steady and will get the job done. If there is no rush it takes them a week to get in the fabric and about 2 to 3 weeks to upholster the chairs. You do have to bring in the chairs/sofa for them to correctly estimate the yardage so you will be without your chairs/sofa for about a month. I think they have a pick up service but I have a truck so I have not used that. They did a superb job on my chairs (3 total), welts, keeping patterns/plaids straight, etc. They will also do pillows and arm protectors if you ask ahead (takes fabric). Very nice and polite group to deal with. I would highly recommend them!!

+ -1 moreI called first to ask if mine was the type of work they do. (I had discovered that several area "upholsterers" prefer to do only cars.) I was told I could bring the cushions in any time, so I just dropped them off on my schedule. They were ready the next day, as promised. The replacement may be even better than my original material, and the work is excellent.
Description of Work: I had the foam replaced in my sofa cushions.

+ -1 moreI had an antique goose neck rocker that had been in my family for years. It had been re-upholstered about 20 years ago, but needed new fabric. They did a wonderful job, were quick and reasonably priced. It's a great operation. Stepping in is like stepping back in time to an upholstery shop in the 1950s. I will definitely take in future pieces that need to be recovered.
Description of Work: The company re-upholstered an antique rocking chair beautifully. They assisted with selecting fabric in stock, but also provided the option of special ordering fabric.
