Description of Work: Explaned the buying process to me

Description of Work: I am in the market for a home on Chincoteague Island. When I drove into the resort town, this is the first company I came to, so I stopped. What a mistake that was. The people there were rude, unhelpful, and had no idea about the market. I was only in the door 2 minutes before they wanted me to sign something saying I would commit to buying a home with them and that I would pay them 3% above whatever the commission was. Why would I pay them any commission since the seller normally pays that...for one...and two...commit to hiring them after only knowing them for 2 minutes. After not signing that, they still ended up talking to me about my business. They walked out of the room several times to talk to friends or family that stopped in to say hello. There was a small door there that almost bit my son. After the dog incident and the third time they put someone else ahead of our business...we walked out. If that was not bad enough...a woman followed us out and was very forceful about how if we left, they would not find a better real estate agent, and that we needed to understand that things are different "around here". We ended up going downtown the another company, that was professional, helpful, and if all goes well...may have already found us our dream home. We are going back to see it this week.
