Waterworks Pressure Cleaning of Virginia

Went well. I was shown around the house after completion and made aware of any problems. House looks very nice.

Great! All gutters cleaned and debris was removed from property.

I had a terrible time trying to schedule this service after purchasing my big deal. Finally had to contact Angie's List to complain, and they reached out to the provider, who quickly scheduled the service (6 weeks after I purchased the deal). Then the company re-scheduled once and tried to do so a second time, but I declined. They showed up as scheduled, and the technician was very nice, professional, and efficient. I was very satisfied with the service itself, but the scheduling issue is a real problem. Not sure if they are short-staffed, but that is no excuse for not returning phone calls and emails. Good customer service IS part of the overall service offered.

In addition to what I just described, he told me that the gutter guards are in good condition and are doing their job very well. I'd never had gutter guards nor needed anyone to clean my gutters before, so this was helpful. I'm not sure how to rate the price, as I've never hired anyone to do it. Compared to buying a ladder, hiring someone to hold it steady, and climbing up, it was a bargain! There was a long gap from the time I signed up and the next step. I'd already paid for the services quite a while before they happened. He went out of his way to make it worth my while--the chore was quicker and easier than expected and he gave a little extra. I certainly hope this won't get him in trouble with his employer.

I never really heard from the company. After five weeks, I cancelled the deal.

They sent me an email that was 6,028 words advising on how to prepare for the gutter cleaning. They suggested that I didn't have to be home and to leave my home accessible. This company trespassed and climbed on my roof against my wishes, well knowing they had refunded my money and did not have any authorization to be on this property. Angie's List was hesitant to allow an update to this review.

There were some scheduling issues in the beginning, but when they finally came out, the worker was excellent and he did a great job!

I bought the deal for cleaning gutters and -- after 15 days -- I am still waiting for a response to my numerous scheduling requests. Will ask AL for refund on 3/24. Company doesn't value me at all as customer.

There were some issues with the initial scheduling but this was not the fault of the provider entirely. Once we did get in touch with each other, we set up the appointment with ease--weather dependent! The provider wasn't running on schedule but he called to let me know they'd encountered some unexpected set backs but would still be onsite later that day. I appreciated the phone call a lot so I could plan my day. The provider was here about three hours. He also provided a quote for a follow up visit to pressure wash the decks and seal them. We were relieved to hear that he could do this so we could get a few more years out of the decks since we thought for sure we'd have to replace them this year.

In never "went" at all. Expecting my house to be powerwashed in the best of weathers, in ideal conditions, the promised schedule was never kept at all. Would it have gone well? Perhaps! But, I was never given the chance to find out-------for the 2nd time, I might add. This is no way to do business, and I would advise EVERYONE to avoid any sort of business with this company. UPDATE: Apparently, WATERWORKS is a franchised network chain. My location was serviced at long last by the Richmond franchise by a fine fellow named Maurice on Friday, March 13th. When he arrived, he told me that he had just received the assignment that very morning from the main office (probably in Atlanta, GA), so it was not he who was responsible for the poor scheduling mix-up. He did the job decently and my house looks as if it had been freshly painted. Satisfied with his work, I asked him to come back to do my driveway and sidewalk. He called me after he returned to Richmond to set a schedule for the following Tuesday, March 17th. He showed up on time and did both and both are sparkling clean. I am satisfied. Apparently the main office that does the scheduling is the one at fault. But once the local franchise gets the information, it can do the work well. I could recommend the work done, but one must expect the scheduling might be a problem. If I wish another power-wash, I shall contact the Richmond franchise directly and would advise friends and neighbors here to do the same. Maurice worked diligently, without stopping even for a break and I am happy with the way my house, driveway, and sidewalk look with the new face lift!

Purchased the Big Deal on 2/06/15 ( Gutter Tune-up). Received an email in my Angie's List inbox that requested a 'survey' of what needed along with details of house. Appointment scheduled for 2/28/15. No one showed up. Contacted them again on 3/05/15 and was told that someone would come out on today 3/09/15 between 11am and 1pm. No one showed. I agreed to give them another opportunity to provide the service. I took time off from work to have the service performed on 3/11/2015 as promised. I was expecting someone to show up at least by 9am, but alas it did not happen. I received a phone call at 9:22am from their rep. He explained that he was getting out of bed/getting dressed and heading down to perform the work for me. He apologized/explained what had happened previously and wanted to make sure that he provided the service and that I would be satisfied. I told him I just wanted the service I had paid for. I waited until it up to me for the trouble. I waited until 11:30am and phoned him back to say that I needed to get to work. I took off another half a day from work to ensure that the work was performed as promised. At any rate, the rep said that he was almost at my home. I let him know that I couldn't wait any longer. I received a phone call about 12:30pm saying that the service was performed and that I was missing a guard on one side of the house. He pointed out that my house needed a power wash and that he would be willing to provide it at a discount. He also said that he would install the missing guard if I purchased it and had it available when he returned. I did purchase the guard and awaited for a call to schedule the power wash and put the gutter guard on. Received a call on Saturday 3/14/2015 from Chris to schedule the power wash for Wednesday 3/18/2015 between the hours of 3 and 4pm. I told him that there were still popped-out nails on the gutters. He told me that they may have popped out after their rep left. Again, I took off half a day for the service to be performed. No one showed up and no one called on 3/18/2015. Poor service and customer service.

Took 2 months to get to my house to do the work. I followed up with an email and was told the Richmond office was asked to call me. Weeks past nothing. I send another email asking for the phone number so I could call. I called and left a message. Weeks past and no response. I finally decided to ask for my money back and find another service to do the work. Well that was the magic because they called the next day and an appointment was set for the next day. They showed up but not until later in the afternoon. I will use another company for sure next time.

The service was good. It looked nice when I got home. The staff was fine. I would recommend them to a friend. They did show when they said they would.

OK, came and went without us knowing. ( Might have been nice if they left a card or something to say the work had been done.)

I have given them an overall A rating because they showed up when they said they would, did the job, and did not leave a mess. I would use them again and recommend them to my friends. There are things you need to know, and if they bother you then look else where. They are pretty strict about all the communication coming through email. This did not bother me because my job keeps me in front of a computer all day long. If you are the kind of person that checks your email once a week then you will find them frustrating to deal with. You might not even get the work done on time, because you have to fill out a form that they email you before they schedule the work and then they will inform you of the scheduled date by email. In my case they let me know 2 days in advance, so if you haven't checked your email in the last 2 days you will be surprised when they show up. Also, the emails are very wordy. This review is quite short in comparison to their emails. I got the impression that they had been doing this a while and that every time they had some issue with a customer they added another sentence or two to their email. So, for example, I printed out their first email that was basically asking me to click on a link and fill out a web form so they could schedule the work. The email was 4 pages long. Finally, there was a $30 up charge because my house was 2 stories with a basement. I don't recall seeing that listed as a possible up charge on the angie's list "deal" that I signed up for. It did mention square footage of the house as a reason for an up charge but not height of gutter from ground. I was informed of the up charge before the work was scheduled, so presumably I could have canceled the deal before they came. Being relatively new to Angie's List I am not sure how I would have gotten my original $89 back that I paid through Angie's List for the original Deal. Either way, I still thought $119 was a good price to clean my gutters.

It was fine. I would use them again in the future.

It went very well. I ended up paying an extra $15 for them to clean up and bag the leftover materials.

Everything went well. The guy was very nice.

It was fine. The missed my first appointment because of bad weather. But then everything was fine. There was no additional cost. It was difficult to reschedule and they never called me to let me know that they weren’t going to show up that day due to bad weather.

This was wonderful. The price was right and they were right on time. The technician who did the cleaning was very considerate of all my landscaping, bushes, etc. He made sure to clean everything up afterwards and even cleaned up things that he didn't really need to. He did an absolutely fantastic job and I plan on using them again. They were awesome and I have even recommended them to my neighbors. I feel like he cared for my gutters like they were his own and even pointed out things to watch out for repair wise in the future.

The company never contacted me. I have requested a refund.

The worker arrived promptly and did a great job both cleaning the gutters and power washing the house. Did a great job, but the cleaning solution did leave a residue on the windows. He appeared to take great care with his work and spent a good amount of time doing the job. It was definitely thorough and not rushed.

They wanted to charge me $45 extra to clean the siding of my home which is not a deal

They called me initially and set up the good stuff, then I never heard again from them. I called them and never go any response. Then I called Angie's List, and then they called me the next day and did the work. I got a bill yesterday, because I told them to bag the debris and not to throw on the ground. The price was average. I wasn't here when they came. I had a doctors appointment with my husband and when I got back, it was done. You don't make an appointment and then forget about it.
