Waterworks Pressure Cleaning of Virginia

Waterworks Pressure Cleaning rep presented in a business-like fashion, explained what would be done, how it would be done, an how long the job would take. All work was preformed in a workman-like manner. I have requested Waterworks Pressure Cleaning contact me in early December for some potential follow-on work.

I have set up appts w/ them twice and both times they did not show, nor did they call to reschedule or let me know they were not coming out. I cannot get a hold of them, their voice mail box is full, they don't reply to emails...this is very frustrating! At this point, they are no more than crooks who have taken my money and provided NO SERVICE!!! Still trying to get my money back... DO NOT BUY ANY SERVICE FROM THESE GUYS!! YOU WILL BE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY!!!

Did excellent job. Purchased the coupon deal for $250.00, but was actually quoted a cheaper price when they called to schedule, so use your judgement if you have a smaller home. You may not need the coupon.

They missed some spots and charge extra to clean out the gutters, but overall it was a pretty good job.

It went great. Provider arrived on time and did a good job.

The service provided is excellent. However, it took Waterworks Pressure Cleaning a month to clean the gutters. I have never talked to them. We communicated through messages left on my telephone. There were several changed appointments because Waterworks Pressure Cleaning were unable to perform the service at the scheduled time-they left a message explaining. They were always very professional and immediately rescheduled and explained they were sorry but there was no other option. The last scheduled appointment was on Saturday May 2, but no one showed up for the appointment and no message this time. On Tuesday, I received a message saying the Waterworks Pressure Cleaning person was on their way to clean the gutters. My problem-no communication except by messages and voice mail, cancelled appointments and lastly, follow up only by email. They did a great job but I wish I could have talked to them.

Took forever to get on their schedule (about a month), then they stood me up without a word...crickets. I called 3 days later and spoke to the owner, who apologized and said there had been problems in the office. He was in the field and promised that someone in his office would call me back in 5 minutes to reschedule. You guessed it...crickets again. Spoke to owner again and got rescheduled. He offered to throw in an additional service as an apology, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, he was a no show at the rescheduled appointment. I sort of feel for the guy and really want this service to work out. I'm not sure what happened because when I purchased this deal they were an A rated company. Recently I've seen many posts with similar experiences to mine.

I received an email inquiry wanting to know if I needed additional services (I purchased an Angie List special - powerwash for $99). I purchased the special in late March/early April and requested an April date of their choosing. I received a phone message saying they could come May 4 (earliest date in my area), which was fine. I did not need to be home. All went well :)

Other than a form letter, I haven't heard from them at all, and it's been about 3 weeks. If you can't do something, that's fine, just let the customer know.

I called Customer Service to discuss my invoice for gutter cleaning and spoke with Jonathan. Jonathan was very courteous and resolved my question quickly. Jonathan was also kind enough to provide me with the number for the local office so I could schedule an additional service. I cannot wait to have Waterworks pressure was my house. Thank you Waterworks!!

They sent me an email through the message center and then I never heard from them again. I have tried to call them, email them and follow up a number of times. I have decided not to use them as they are not very responsive. I have requested a refund from Angie's List.

Did not provide service; request refund. Two times a no-show, no-call.

Judging by the other reviews, people felt sorry for this guy. He came alone to do a two story house and did not have the equipment to clean the upper story. In a little over an hour he was gone, having power washed and gutter cleaned. The side of the house by the driveway which was easily accessible was blistered by the power washing while the upper story is left with considerable black spot. Several appointments were made before he showed up and even the last date was changed because of an emergency. The man who came was polite and likable. The price would have been very good if the work had been done well.

Didn't get a personal email, it went to my spam folder. Finally got in touch with vendor, set up an appointment. Vendor did not show up. Was offered no apologies by receptionist, only an offer to re-schedule. Pretty annoying. Vendor showed up for second date and did a good job. I was not home. Got a message he was near my home and would call when the job was done. He never called. I called him.

Never heard back from the service provider after contacting them on April 22nd.

Scheduling of the service was disappointing. When I purchased the service on Angie's List, the Angie's List link asked me to provide best service days so I expected a phone call from company to confirm days or de-conflict schedule. But I received an email from company asking me to fill out a different service request form, which asked me what "months", not days would be best for service. Then I didn't hear anything until a Sunday afternoon phone call stating they had cancellations and asked if they could service me the next day. The following day, the individual arrived around 4 pm. Explained that the company was based out of Richmond and since Chesapeake was an 1 1/2 hour drive, they did multiple services in the area that day. Work was performed professionally. He removed all debris and old damaged gutter screens. He recommended ways to help keep gutters clean in the future. We discussed an estimate for pressure washing house in the future. While the scheduling process was poor, I am happy with the work performed.

A personal matter came up which unfortunately I have to cancel at this time, but at a later date I will have these services performed. The only reason I am giving them a 'C' is because nobody contacted me on the date I was told on their advertisement.

I purchased a power wash for my townhouse in February (it's now April). I've scheduled several times for them to come. Twice they called to cancel for weather. Once someone came and cleaned my gutters (not what I wanted). I called to let them know that they had done the wrong service and was assured that they would return and do what I had paid for, but I'm still waiting for the powerwashing to be done.

My wife called them several times. They came out and did not complete the job because they kept saying that their equipment was malfunctioning and that they were going to come back and do it. It took them a week to come back. Then even after they came and did it, it is still was not what I expected, but the gentleman was polite at least, the one that came out and did it, but overall, I would not do it again. I think there was no additional cost or anything to the $139 Big Deal cost.

They suggested I contact Angie's list for a refund and I did so.

So far, things aren't great. I purchased service on the website on 3/18, and received a message within a day stating that I'd hear from someone "soon" to schedule service. Nothing was forthcoming for nearly another 2 weeks afterwards, which was fine with me since my first available date wasn't until 4/8. I sent them a message through Angies List on 4/3 and received a response on 4/5 stating that someone would get in touch with me- which still didn't occur, even as of 4/8. I did send them a message on the morning 4/7 stating that by now it was too late to schedule service for the 8th, but that I'd still want to hear from them within 24 hours- with no response. I called the 800 number listed on the 8th, and was promised that the office in Georgia would contact the local Virginia office and have someone call me- at this point, that's still pending, so we'll see how they handle it from here. I'm very disappointed in the lackluster communication from this company- it's the work of 10 minutes to call someone and schedule service, even with difficult customers, so there's simply no excuse for it to take almost 3 weeks just to begin the scheduling, much less actually get service completed. Update 4/9: I received a call back from the local office, Chris was able to quickly set up my service date of 4/17. Chris had evidently not been made aware of the Angie's List coupon that I bought ($250 for pressure washing a 2000 sq.ft. house, with gutter cleaning), so I had to look it up again while talking to make sure I was scheduled for the service I'd paid for. This communication failure is probably not Chris's fault, and I'm taking it as another indication that the Georgia office isn't good at facilitating good information to their subsidiary departments. More to follow after 4/17 service date. UPDATE: On 4/17, I'd anticipated a morning arrival, but the team didn't arrive by noon. I called Chris around noon and he advised they were "on their way", so I waited longer; around 1 I called again and he called his team to find out what the hold up was. They finally arrived around 2:15 (ish), and set right to work after a little discussion- I'd been mowing the lawn and when I finished they were already setting up the ladder to clean the gutters and were even willing to put a drain pipe back in place which had fallen a few weeks back. The guys were very quick (took around 90 minutes to complete) and the house is clean again with only a couple of small spots missed (one of my gables is over the roof of the garage and hard to reach, so there's about a 1 sq. ft. area with some schmutz on it). Overall, the house looks vastly better, so I have no complaints about the service for the cost, just problems with communication (as described above), and with punctuality. Conclusion: They're fine, as far as the work goes, but don't wait to call them if you don't hear right away, and don't depend on them to coordinate the back-office stuff well (especially if you buy one of the AngiesList coupons).

We are in a heavily wooded area, with 6-inch gutters. So there was a lot of debris. It was all removed, and the deck surrounding the back of the house was swept with a leaf blower. Good job.

They responded well when the deal first came out, but once I filled out the paperwork that they required, I didn’t hear from them for a matter of weeks. I had to keep calling and keep calling just to get a hold of them. When I finally got a hold of them, they scheduled the first appointment and they didn’t come until after 5:00pm, but didn’t do the work because they felt a couple rain drops. They rescheduled and never came back out. I called them back to see what’s going on, they apologized profusely and said they would come out today. They never showed.

They initially told me they couldn't get to me for about three weeks. I gave them some time and tried to contact them again. They said the Richmond team would get in contact with me, but so far they haven't.

The service turned out good. I was not home when they did the gutter cleaning, but someone from my family was home at the time. The gutter cleaning was done on a 2 story home.
