Waterworks Pressure Cleaning of Virginia

The provider never responded back to my request to schedule the service. They indicated they would be in touch after the rain stopped but I never heard from them. I wish I had paid attention to all of the reviews for this vendor prior to making the purchase. I have asked for a refund from Angie's List.

They did a good job but they didn't do the pavers. I called them back too and I got somebody else finish it. They did a really good job. The work was fine. I have no complaints with it. U had no problem with them at all. I would use them again. They were very professional, right on time and did what they said they would do. The first day the guy didn't have the ladder but he came back the second day and got everything done. It was just a little bit of a mix-up as far as the height of my hallway. It's two stories plus the height of the skylight. I didn't want him going up with the ladder he has because it wasn't safe. He had a 22 foot ladder and he needed a 26 foot ladder. I told him I didn't want him doing that that day. The owner called that night, explained what happened. He was back the next day as promised with the right ladder and finished everything. They did fine.

I couldn't get them to schedule a date for a long time. I purchased the deal April 8th but couldn't get a schedule date until June 29th. I had to call both Angie's List and the headquarters for the company to get put on the schedule. On June 29th the guy stood me up; no phone call or anything. I contacted the headquarters in another state and someone there said that they would call him. They tried his phone number but it went to voicemail. I had tried his number as well and it went to voicemail. The headquarters for Waterworks Pressure Cleaning never called me back either.

We purchased a deal and after we set up the first appointment and they did not show up, so we called back and set up another appointment and they never showed up again. No call from the company or anything. We were giving the benefit of the doubt at first, but something is wrong with the company if they don't show up for appointments and not even call out of courtesy.

Bottom Line: do not use this company no matter how 'good' the deal offered is. It is a waste of your time. My experience: 1) It was three weeks after I paid for the deal before I made contact with the Richmond based company. It took contacting the home office in Atlanta who put me in contact with the Richmond "franchise". It was blamed on a computer glitch. Business was apologetic and service was scheduled for 12 June. 2) Wed, 10 June. Being it was a month between when service was scheduled and actual service date ( based on my request), I called to confirm technicians were going to arrive as describe (10am roughly) in scheduling call. I got no answer or call back. 3) Fri, 12 June. We finally got a call from technician at 3pm. Blamed it on a wrong number, I left my phone number with his boss 30 times calling to figure out where they were. tech power washed the garage floor and said call the office to schedule the floor coating since the floor need to dry out a few days. 4) Mon, 15 June. One of the few times the answered my call...company scheduled me for Tuesday 16 June. to put down coating. 5) Tue, 16 June. No show...no call or anything. I was unable to get a hold of Richmond until calling Atlanta again on friday. 6) Fri, 19 June. Given the personal cell of Richmond personnel I was told they would show up on Monday 22 June. 7) Mon, 22 June. No show. No calls. All numbers going to immediately to voicemail. 8) Wed, 23 June. asked for full refund. However, couldn't get anyone to answer or call me back. Not a surprise really. Result: 24 June - angie's list saved the day and gave me a refund. This is how it must work considering the deal was purchased through their 'big deal' offer. In my dealings with Waterworks pressure cleaning, I feel the atlanta office is responsive and very understanding of the richmond's office's failures. I would do business ONLY with Atlanta office . .

After paying for the Angie's List special, I heard nothing from the company. I set up on their website possible dates which they ignored. I finally managed to contact the office to schedule. That day it rained, so I called to see if they were still coming. No answer. I called again to reschedule. No answer. I emailed at least twice. No answer. I called Angie's List. The head office in Atlanta called but never the Richmond group. Atlanta promised to find out what what going on. I've heard nothing back from either group. Finally, Angie's List reimbursed me. Talk about deadbeats.

I bought this package with a need for gutter cleaning within a week or two. After a couple of days had past and I had not been contacted by the company to set up an appointment I called the company and left a message. Over the next several days I left several messages and never received a call back. Finally, I called and someone answered the phone and we scheduled a time for the service for the following week. No one ever showed up and when I called to inquire as to the reason the voice mail box was full and I was unable to leave a message.

I have used Angies List for many of my house projects over the last year and a half and never have a had a worse experience than I did with this company. I bought the deck deal and they did call in two business days to schedule an appointment. They didnt show up on the scheduled day due to rain but they didnt call to tell me that nor did they call to reschedule. I called close to twenty times over the next week trying to reschedule. The only people I got a hold of was the corporate office in Atlanta. They were nice and keep saying, "We will called Chris in VA for you, he will call back today" or "Here is his personal phone number you should be able to get ahold of him" But I got nothing until a week later while I was at work, I get a phone call that they will be at my house in an hour. Well I said no you won't unless o can get off work, "Oh we don't need you there" I politely said you can't get into my backyard without me and my husband is a cop and he works nights so he is sleeping and I do not want you disturbing him. So o rush home clear off my whole deck. They get to my house and don't really say much about how they are going to put the waterproof sealant on. I assume all will be well and go inside. After they left and things dried I found that they had splashed sealant onto my patio pavers and onto my brand new, and newly stained Adirondack chairs. It looked like a mess. I called and left a message and got nothing. Waited til Monday still nothing so I called corporate in Atlanta and they were super apologetic and said they would make sure I got a call. Chris didn't call me until Wednesday morning, after I'm sure he heard from the corporate office. I just can't believe a business like this could be so unprofessional. I sincerely hope Angies List removes them from the site. I even went ahead and did my entire deck over again myself since they used a sprayer to put the sealant on it didn't get in most of the areas it should have and looked very streaky.

I was lucky to reach the Main office who set up the appointment. The time was between 8-12n. At 10am called to see what is the ETA only to be told hes having some difficulties but would call me back in 1/2 hour. An hour and half later I called back and got a receptionist. She said she had to check. She called back to let me know that the appt was rescheduled for the following day. I the interim, the pieces from my garage are sitting I the driveway covered with a tarp. The following day waited until 10am and called and no answer. At 1pm still no show. I called Angie list and now we are in the process of trying to find a replacement because the deal was purchased over 30 days. I am going to stay calm until this is resolved to my satisfaction. The only resolution that I will accept is 100% of my money or a replacement with another reputable company. I lost 2 days of work staying home waiting for this company.

I bought the service on May 7. I received an email saying they would respond and set up the date for service. Nothing happened. I sent a follow up email and again nothing happened. I finally called and on June 2 and set up an appointment for June 12 between 9 and noon. They did not show up. No call. No email just did not show up. They did show up at 3 PM. No explanation. The power washing was done well. No complaints about the work.

OK--here goes! I purchased the deal on 11/11/14 and your site says they will call within a day or two--they didn't call until 11/18/14. When I spoke to the lady I said please call back the first week of December when the leaves would have fallen--she did not call back. She called back on December 17 and left a message; I returned her call on Dec. 18 but told her that I already had my Christmas decorations up and I felt cleaning the gutters would mess them up. We set January 9 at 9:30 am as the date they would come. They didn't call and didn't show up on January 9th. I got an email from them at 11:15 am telling me they were behind because of the weather and would not be coming (after I planned my whole day around being there!) The email said they would be out on January 14th to perform the service. But I called to let them know that wouldn't work for me--I wanted to be there when they performed the service. My notes get a little fuzzy here--by then I wasn't very happy with them. I think the date was Friday, January 16 and they promised they would be there at a certain time but weren't. I left my house to run an errand and got a call from a cell number I didn't recognize so I didn't answer it. When I got back home the gentleman was there doing my gutters. He had called to tell me he was on the way but didn't leave a message! He didn't do a good job--when he left there were streaks of dirt all over the side of my house. I had to take my garden hose out and rinse my house off. Also when I spoke to the lady on the phone on Dec. 18th she told me I would have to pay $15 extra if I wanted the worker to bag up the mess that came out of the gutters! It was a totally unpleasant experience--when I see ads now on Angie's list for something like power washing my deck and I see that company name I stop looking right away--I would never use them again for anything. I mentioned all this to the man that came to do the work and he told me that he was just the worker--all the stuff I was complaining about originated out of the main office which is in Georgia. He just threw his hands up in the air like it wasn't his fault!

Buyer Beware! From the start I could not get a hold of a live person. I purchased the $69 gutter deal back in May for my Chesapeake, VA home. It has been over a month and my gutters still have not been cleaned. After several weeks an appointment setter finally called. This was after I sent an email and left several voice mails. On the day they were finally scheduled to clean the gutters --they were a "no show." Again, I have have called them and left several voice mails with no response. I agree with other they should be removed from Angie's List Big Deal. Please note I put a "F" on price because I paid $69 and received nothing in return.

They showed up on time. Bought the tools they needed and all the ladders required for our 2-story house. They work quickly and proficiently to do the job. They finished and removed the equipment. My one concern, which is a little picky, is that they left some debris on the lower roofs that stuck out further than the upper gutters. Not really much of a problem, it was just cosmetic but it looked messy. Except that I thought that they were really great, and would not hesitate hiring them again.

I called several times to make the appointment, got voicemail and left messages, but no return calls. I finally made contact with Chris and made an appointment for the service for Friday, June 5?between noon and 5pm. I took off a half day of work but no one came. I called several times during this time and?Chris assured me that someone would be coming. I finally got a call from the washer (not Chris) after 6pm telling me that I had to reschedule for the next Monday?morning. I?again called Chris, who did not answer and?has not?returned my call in the ensuing week. I left a message stating that I am not taking off work another day and I want my money back. This company is too difficult to contact or deal with.

I purchased this service earlier this year to tighten/shore up the gutters on my previous home that was getting ready for the sale. My first meeting with the provider was when he came to the wrong address; he showed up at my current address (wrong address) instead of my previous home, soon to go on the market, that was clearly indicated on the order. He said he would go to the correct home address within the week. I received a call from him around 2 weeks later at 7:15 pm, and he stated that he was "looking" at the gutters and couldn't "see" what work was needed. This was in March, which was right at sunset and I believe he was "looking" up at my gutters from from two stories down on the ground. I had been advised from an earlier service of gutter cleaning from a different company that the gutters were in need of tightening up, although that company did a great job of cleaning ans flushing the gutters, their services were not equipped to do the gutter tightening. Also, I could easily see that the gutters on the back side of my home were loose with a number of spikes sticking out 3-4 inches. My third contact with Waterworks Pressure Cleaning was when I called to clarify that my gutters were in need of maintenance and follow-up on when the job would be done. Was told it would be taken care of within the week by the manager. Several weeks later I check in on the home and nothing had been done. Another call to the company where they explained they started the work but had run out of spikes; they would return to finish up. I had been occupied with the death of my father and got back to the home to check about a month later to see that nothing had been done. In fact, at this time upon closer inspection, I didn't see any indication of previous work done. I called the contacted the company for the 4th or 5th time this week and left a message reflecting my dis-satisfaction. If has been four days and I have heard nothing. I have read other recent reviews of this company that have had similar experiences. So now I'm out $75.00 with no hope of getting the paid for service or refund!!!!!!!

After looking through the reviews that came pouring in after the Angie's List special, this joker sounds more like a scam artist. This will make me try tact to purchase deals through AL in the future, and I am seeking a refund.

Job was completed on time and done well. Only issue was scheduling the appointment. It was approximately 3 weeks after purchasing the deal before anyone called to set up an appointment for the service, which was a bit too long to wait to have the appointment scheduled.

After several attempts to contact with no response, we go Angie's List to refund the money and went with someone else.

I would like to have my payment returned. Waited long enough and don't want the service.

It was horrible, in fact I was going to write you a note saying I will be afraid to ever use a "deal" again. The company was not local so communication and dates of service were a huge issue. I called Angie's list several times for help with the service. I had given up on the service when the man called after the time bracket, arriving over an hour later. He had to recall me for the address. By the time he arrived it was after dinner time, I was tired and angry and still had to show him the water and electric lines. He didn't finish until dusk, not sure how he could see what he was doing. He even left part of the pressure washer in the yard and had to return days later the pick it up. Not impressed, will not repeat that service. Both my husband and I agree that we are unlikely to use a deal again after that failure. As will stick with local companies. Disappointed all around.

The powerwashing was done very well. The reason for the lower rating is due to the fact that I had to email them several times before they finally responded and scheduled an appointment. It was a waste of my time. For future projects, I would recommend Andrew at EcoWash (ph: 804-980-8480). I used Andrew to powerwash my house (a few weeks after the fence) and he did a great job, was very responsive, and gave me a great price.
