Waterworks Pressure Cleaning of Virginia

Description of Work: I purchased this service through AL on 2/14/15; the AL process included choosing available dates for the service. 9 days later, WaterWorks finally emailed me, thanking me for the order and asked me to go to their website and schedule my service for the following month. Earliest available was nearly 30 days after I made my initial purchase. This was annoying but not a deal breaker. About a week before my service, a representative called to confirm the service date and 4-Hr window in which they would arrive. The day before the service though they called to inform me that the truck that was scheduled to be at my house broke down and unfortunately they would need to reschedule. The new service date was in early April. A day or two before the rescheduled appointment, a representative called to tell me that the "technician" who would be completing my service had a family emergency and my job would, again, need to be rescheduled. So they set up for a date the following week. That new date is now a full two months after I ordered AND PAID FOR their services. This 3rd scheduled service date came and went. There is no evidence that the company has come at all (there is loose dirt all over the vinyl siding on my front porch, for instance, that would come off under a simple rinse with the garden hose) and no service documents left on the front door, so I can only assume they failed to meet this appointment as well. Thus far the rescheduling have been a frustrating annoyance however I hope to have this house on the market to sell in the next two weeks, fully 3 months after purchasing the service through Angie's List, and I have zero confidence this company will perform. I have called their parent office in Atlanta as well as their local office here in Virginia several times. The Atlanta office is very apologetic but says all they can do is get my contact info and pass it along to the Richmond office. The Richmond phone number always goes to voicemail however no one has returned my call yet. Hopefully this feedback evokes a response either in the form of a refund or a clean house, if not both. I have reservations about trying to use this company on any other properties let alone recommending them to friends.

Description of Work: Waterworks has communication difficulties between their franchise operators and their customers. I paid "Angies List Deals" to have my gutters cleaned on March 29th and have been told by Waterworks corporate someone would contact me to schedule the service. A month later, on April 29th I haven't received anything but email responses to my inquiries for service. The latest one from corporate gave me the local phone # so I called it and tried to leave a message but their message service does not allow messages. Not at all satisfied with their lack of attention to their paying customer.

Description of Work: Fence repair that went well and in happy w/ the work. It was very difficult to get the appointment scheduled. It took 5 months of contacting them and help from a case manager from Angie's list to get their attention. The repair work that I requested was ultimately completed quickly and correctly.

Description of Work: They power washed my driveway. I had put down some vinegar last summer to kill the grass growing in the cracks of the concrete, and it left drip marks everywhere! He did a fantastic job--did the sidewalk leading up to the house, including moving some mulch out of the way, and also did my steps, which had been messed up by some ice-removing chemicals from the winter. My only suggestion is that they be more responsive in communicating with their customers about scheduling. It took a long time and several false starts before the work was done, even though I paid for a Big Deal way in advance. But, in the end, it was worth the wait--it looks great!

Description of Work: Waterworks did a great job cleaning the gutters on our house. I was so happy with the experience, I requested a quote for having Waterworks come back and pressure wash my house.

Description of Work: Pressure washed deck and stairs and applied water seal. Maurice did a good job and was very pleasant to deal with. I have already hired them to pressure wash the house in a week. I definitely recommend them. I am happy with the service and the value.

Description of Work: The $99 I paid for was for the fence “repairs” but they want additional cost for the pressure washing. They couldn't satin it because of the weather so we agreed that we would look at it in the spring. The technician came out and said the work order said it was for a routine maintenance. They did no work for me because this is not the service I was looking for. I have requested a refund for the deal.

Description of Work: To be honest, it's kind of difficult to rate this job. They called, I assume they came, everything was bagged and carried (at least I paid for it), with almost no evidence they had ever been there.
