It could not have gone any better. They removed the old garage door and hardware and installed the new garage door. They also hooked up the new garage door opener I had bought and installed. They made sure it worked as it should and left the area clean of any debris. I highly recommend Commonwealth Garage Door to anyone installing a garage door. Their professionalism and courtesy was outstanding and could not be improved upon. I had not heard of this company until seeing it here on Angies List - I decided to go with the deal and am VERY happy I did. The door functions perfectly and the wife is happy. It doesn't get better than this. Thanks guys for a great installation!

Our garage door was not working....my fiancé had exhausted every DIY fix he could find. I contacted Commonwealth Garage through this Angie's List coupon. Tommy responded to my request for service the same day I purchased the deal, and promptly scheduled service. He arrived on time and handled the issue with great competence and professionalism. Within the hour he diagnosed the problem and had the garage door fixed. We were impressed with this service and would definitely recommend him to anyone having issues with their opener!!

Had a special for replacing garage door spring, so thought I'd give them a try. When I called, we discussed that I might need both the spring and cables replaced for the garage door; the price for replacing the spring plus the cables was over $100 less than top-rated provider in my area. When the tech arrived the following morning, he was punctual, friendly and efficient. He determined that we did not need to replace the cables, and had the new spring mounted in a bit over thirty minutes. Would definitely recommend to my friends/neighbors, and would definitely use again!

Fantastic! First owner Tommy Barber called (on a Sunday) within hours of my sending an email. He came over later and gave me a quote and scheduled the installation for the next day. His installer (Grady) showed up and got to work. He was polite and professional. The finished product is beautiful and runs smoothly. He didn't just put in a new door but installed new rails and updated the old double spring carrier to a single torgue bar. He added weather striping to the frame so the opening is sealed from the elements. Door operates smoothly and looks beautiful!!

It was amazing. It was perfect. The price was right. They came when I needed them to. We wanted it done the day before thanksgiving and they stayed late to do the job to perfection. They guys couldn't have been any nicer. It was just wonderful.

Tommy Barber, the company's owner, was very prompt, pleasant and professional in all our contacts. He and his men removed the old door and installed the new one which is insulated and has a row of windows. Our garage is older and does not have a perfectly square and standard width door frame. Tommy was able to use molding to make a good fit. He also connected the new door to our old opener. I would not hesitate to call this company again or to recommend them.

Price I was quoted when I called to set the appointment was the price I paid after the work was complete. I purchased a Chamberlain Whisperdrive from Lowes a few months ago and had no idea how to put it up. Found Commonwealth online and called to set an appointment. Tommy, the Owner took the call, I gave him the model information and he and his crew came out 2 days later and installed it flawlessly. Educated me on what sets belt drives apart from chain drives, showed me all the bells and whistles and left an 24 hour emergency hotline to call in the event of any issues.
