Description of Work: Initial visit went well with getting an estimate on price, how the job would be done, and how long it would take. We asked him to drop by some samples of the pavers we were interested in. He failed to do this. When I called him he said he had a bad cold and that he would drop off the samples the following Tues. Never got the pavers nor heard from him again. This seems to be his mode of operating when he doesn't want to do a job. This is based upon my assessment of other reviews on the site.

Description of Work: Resurfaces .2 mile driveway.dug and installed root wals where necessary. Ther were some minors issues that they responded to and corrected immedialtely

Description of Work: Worden Paving was the low bidder on a patio project for us. Bill came out himself to bid the project and kept us up to date on the progress. The workers were very professional and the work was done in a timely manner (weather permitting) and at a very high quality. We would definitely use Worden Paving again.

Description of Work: This is truly one of the best experiences in home renovations that I've ever experienced. Mr. Worden is an "old school" professional. I asked 2 other contractors for quotes to remove my existing asphalt drive; level and expand the drive area; same with a long front walkway that was aggregate; install a retaining wall at the end and most of the approximate 40 ft. drive length; and, to install a drainage system after several trees had to be removed with stumps ground to accommodate. Mr. Worden figured that all could be finished in approximately 7 days. He and his crew worked from almost dawn to dusk, literally, everyday till the day before Thanksgiving. All was accomplished even after a delivery of the wrong stone and an approximate 16 X 16 area was removed and replaced. During the whole experience the crew was never rattled and always polite and most helpful when I was unable to get into my driveway area to unload items from my car to the house. There was never any trash left on site and clean up at the end of the project was most professional. There is never any problem reaching Mr. Worden either by phone or email. He is very patient to explain and answer any questions as is his crew. I have had very few contractors that were punctual, clean and that took exceptional pride in their work. What a class act! The end project is the envy of my neighbors and friends. Mr. Worden is returning next spring to begin another project and I can't wait.

Description of Work: Mr. Worden and Company built a beautiful retaining wall , along the top back portion, of the hill, running behind the beautifulpatio built by his Company, last year (2011). After digging ditches and stacking bricks I am very please with the outcome and so is my family. His men are always very pleasant and knowledgeable about the jobs they are working. If at a later date I need any work done which include landscaping and design, I will be calling, Mr. Worden and Company again. Thank you Angie's List for referring Mr. Worden and Company.

Description of Work: Mr. Worden was very resonsive to my initial call and to those thereafter. His workman completely replaced and enlarged our old asphalt driveway. The asphalt was broken up and removed; gravel was laid and asphalt was evenly spread and packed down. They were very neat throughout the whole process, removing even small pieces of the old asphalt. They answered all my questions, were very punctual and the job was completed in a very professional and satisfactory manner. I would recommend them to anyone needing a new asphalt driveway and would not hesitate to use them for any other type of paving job. We also felt that his fee for the work was reasonable and fair.

Description of Work: After a communication problem with Mr. Worden he showed up on time and gave me the best solution to our driveway problem that I have heard. Bill was the third estimate for the job and I believe that his idea will solve our problem. He starts work within the next seven days. Thank you to Angie's List for helping to straighten out the communication problem and to Bill for having the experience in the paving business to know what to do.

Description of Work: Asphalt paving of driveway. We had recently had to have a ditch dug out across the driveway for a broken water line. Mr Worden was careful to dug out the old gravel and grade the base to eliminate sinking there. After the grading was done they applied 3" asphalt, creating a nice apron for our entry from the street.

Description of Work: Mr. Worden and his team, were very professional, and went far and beyond what I expected to have done. Mr. Worden and his team informed me from the beginning to end on each step of the way what was happening on the jobs performed. I have received from neighbors all types of compliments about my driveway, new bricked front walkway, and my new bricked -in patio and my rebuilt front brick porch. I do and will recommend Worden's Driveways and Pavers to anyone.
