Description of Work: I called last minute to receive an estimate on a possible resale. We was so impressed that we left with a smile on our faces because we did not purchase the money pit.

Description of Work: After purchasing the kitchen design package, I liked what I saw so I hired them to renovate my kitchen. Overall it was done very well even though we are now in the seventh week. There were days throughout that no workers showed up so be prepared to be really, really patient. Todd is an excellent project leader though he has a tendency to promise more than he delivers overall he will do whatever he can to make it right. Patrick is the best cabinet installer on the East coast...and Mr. Bill is the best at painting ... I spent a little more money outside of the project than I had planned...which wasn't bad but it would have been easier if all was inclusive.. The granite folks were not impressive, my island top is off on one side - they couldn't fix it once it was caulked even though it had been reported earlier. They didn't cover anything..just worked and sprayed the dust everywhere..very sloppily done.. The flooring folks were really good even though they had to make two trips. They often started later in the day which determined pretty much how much work could be done in one day. I think that a little more time could have been given to inspection after the subcontractors completed work. Some of my cabinets have dents and bangs that have been filled in with paint (not noticeable from afar) but enough for me to know they are there. I wanted to use them for more work but this too way too long to complete - I don't feel they met the end dates. Overall it is a significant improvement over what I had and it came out pretty much what we agreed on. Most of these ratings are my relationship to Todd as he was the leader for all the work.

Description of Work: They did my floors and cleaned up some of my stairs and they did a very good job and are very reliable service.

Description of Work: *Refinish hardwood floors in 8 rooms: The floors were in very bad shape with heavy pet stains. The floors came out great though. | |*Install quarter trim in 10 rooms: Looks good, came out fine. | |Install luxury vinyl tile in the bathroom and mud room: I was considering having the bathroom completely redone but Mark from A-1 suggested putting luxury vinyl tile down and having RJ's tub and tile coat the tile and tub. It all came out very good and was of course much much much cheaper than a complete bathroom remodel. I am happy that I talked to Mark from A-1. He wound up saving me a lot of money on the bathroom. | | | | |

Description of Work: Excellent work was done. Owner is Mark Waitkus, very responsible, dependable, punctual, good manager of his team. A major restoration of our home following a frozen, broken water pipe. Prior to that, installed hardwood floor in master bedroom. Denny Jones

Description of Work: Only problem was my expectations were too high (maybe I watch too much HGTV). I assumed when it said they'd do a "kitchen design" they would look at the area I wanted done and tell ME/design for me what would be best for the space. I had to tell them exactly what I was hoping to do and then they did a computer layout of that. So as far as that went, they did a good job.
