My husband and I tried installing this ourselves and were beyond frustrated. We called 804 Floors and they came right out that day to give us an estimate on the job. It was a great price and they did a wonderful job. When we had questions they were very helpful and considered our requests throughout the entire process. We love our floors and 804 Floors took away all the stress.

My wife and I bought our circa 1947 cape cod knowing that our floors would need to be refinished and decided to bite the bullet this fall in preparation for Thanksgiving. After reviewing multiple bids from multiple contractors we chose 804 Floors and it was definitely the right decision. James of 804 Floors provided us a rough estimate when contacted and appeared to be fairly priced, the most detailed, knowledgeable and very professional. He was able to set up a free estimate at our earliest convenience and we scheduled a full refinishing of our house floors and staircase to begin a week and a half later. James and his team were supportive and informative through every step of the process from initial planning to finished product. He was responsive to any and all questions my wife and I had and involved us in every stage. They went above and beyond just sanding and refinishing including patching imperfections, fixing sagging boards, refinishing thresholds, and even applying multiple sample swatches of stain for us to select from. These guys know their craft and their knowledge definitely shows in the final product and process. From explaining characteristics of our specific wood type, to differentiating poly vs water-based urethane to the physical sanding, staining, and sealing, James and his team are pros; he was even able to recognize the type of base moulding the former owners had used as ?Scotia? - something only someone w/ a history of woodcraft or flooring would know. They were able to revive our original white oak flooring which was last finished decades ago even removed what we thought to be the toughest stains and bleaching. Thank you for giving our floors a new life and the Rosewood color looks like a million bucks! To say my wife and I are pleased would be an understatement. We would highly recommend to anyone and everyone in the Richmond area for your wood flooring needs. Already recommended to friends and coworkers.
