Gibson Sewer and Water

This is our second time we used Mr. Gibson. He has always been quick to respond, very cordial, and doesn't try to recommend things just to get extra money. His suggestion was right on target with the minimum suggested solution provided by the health department. We are getting ready to use him again and would recommend him to anyone needing service or repairs.

The company is a father/son duo. We originally called them on Sunday and they estimated that they would not be able to fit us in to complete the work for at least a week. Then we received a call from the father to come up and complete an estimate and inspection of our problem on Wednesday evening. After seeing that our situation was more dire than he originally thought, he offered for them to come up and complete the work the very next day. They arrived exactly on time and were finished earlier than they orignially estimated. They were very knowledgable and polite when answering all of our questions since we had no idea of how a septic system worked or how to maintain it. They informed us that we might be able to claim part of the price on our home insurance. They also used their equipment to move the extra dirt from our yard into the woods. They left the yard looking no worse for the wear when they finished - aside from some missing grass. We live on a mountain which meant that they needed to haul their equipment up our mountain as well as dig through lots of rock in order to reach our septic tank. In the end, the price was also lower than originally estimated. (We received two estimates from different companies to begin with and this company's estimate was much less than what another company wanted to charge us.) Now that we know how to check our tank and how often we will need it pumped, we will be calling them again when we need this service.
