Problem #1 Beautiful installation, no problems. Problem #2 They told my wife the switch in the wall was bad, and she understood that they changed out the box, and put the fan back up, and had to re-connect some wires that had been severed within the fan when it was taken down by a friend. I did not see a new box accounted for in the invoice, so I am not 100% sure what the actual problem was in this bedroom, but it is fixed. Problem #3. They put a cover over the outlet, but said to truly fix the problem would take wiring it directly to the breaker. They also looked at an exterior box in the back of the house, and changed it out. Problem #4. They could not replicate my problem, so no work was necessary. Jeff was very responsive to my initial call, and we talked about the job 2x before his guys came out. He was able to get his guys to my house within a week, which was much faster than anyone else I called. One other Angie's List A rated electrician called back, and said he would do the job for between $300-$350 based on what I described, but could not get out for three weeks. When I called Jeff back and told him of this other bid he said his estimate of $400-$480 was firm. My wife was at home when Jeff's two guys came out, and the positive of our experience is she said they were profesisonal and did a good job of listening. My primary frustration from this job is they were at the house for about 2 hours and 15 minutes, so subtracting their costs (one exterior box, a cover for the exterior box, and a box and a brace for the new fan according to the invoice) I didn't get any discount from the initial quote, for what Jeff estimated would be a 3-4 hour job. Nor did I get the 5% discount for Angie's List members. Will they do good work? Yes. The fan installation, and repair were excellent. Will not be a downward adjustment from the estimate if they get the job done more quickly? No.

Very responsive to email. Quoted within 2 days. Scheduled a week later. They were supposed to arrive between 830-930 AM and arrived at 9 AM. Took a little less than 2 hours. Answered other questions I had about other potential work. They guided me through the basics of dryer electrical and answered all my questions. Very helpful, friendly, and did good work at a reasonable price.

I'm very impressed with Mr. Warren's expertise and professionalism. He arrived, with an assistant, in a timely manner and performed the work thoroughly and quickly. The surge protector suggestion was appreciated since I have had previous problems with this thermostat.

After getting an estimate that I approved I was told the electricians would be at my house at 9. They were very punctual. The work was performed quickly and without a lot of mess. They cleaned up after themselves. One of the men told me I had some rotten wood near the roof, which is not visible from the street. He even showed me a picture he had taken assuming I would not be able to climb a 10' ladder. He suggested I get it fixed quickly before some animal decided to nest in the attic. I was grateful for the info.

The job was completed as described in a very professional manner.

When speaking to Jeff Warren and advised him of the problem, which was my stove while cooking on it Sunday evening I heard something pop behind the stove and seen a spark and my stove stop working. Then Jeff preceded to ask where I live, which was off 58 in Suffolk (his service states they cover Suffolk), yet when I told him where the location was he gave me the impression he didn't want to drive out to this location and then stated the amount listed was just for a service call and doesn't cover parts, labor, etc. Listening to him gave me the impression he didn't want to service me or the area I was in at all and felt with all the other charge's he mention that would be tacked on, then I felt he was just trying to weasel his way out of this service call altogether. Not a great experience with his Company, nor was it a great customer service speaking with him personally over the phone and neither with his new secretary! A Company needs to know that your customer service is that first contact or impression you make when speak to a customer whether it's over the phone or in person. That makes all the difference on a person's first impression when you are trying to win over a customer for business! My first impression wasn't good at all and would not recommend dealing with this merchant again! P.S. I don't like how Angie's list is quick to charge for upfront for work that hasn't even been done yet with merchant. Then when you contact Angie's List and speak to their Customer Service Representative I requested a full refund and they are telling me it can take up to 7-10 business days for the credit to appear back on my account. This is unacceptable! Being that I work for a Bank Credit Division for over 22 years. I explained to the Representative (conservation was being recorded) on how they can contact the merchant (Warren Electrical Services) and have them contact my Bank to have the pending charge reversed that same day. if the merchant doesn't know how to process a reversal on a charge, they can contact their merchant Bank (1-800# listed on their terminal or what ever machine was used for processing my debit card payment. The merchant bank will then explained to the merchant on what all information they would need to have the charged reversed that same day! However, talking with the Angie's List Representative I didn't quite get that vibe he wanted to listen to what I had to say!

Jeff and his team are always punctual, professional, friendly, but more important...competent. This latest job was a small one in my rental property, testing and replacing GFCI in my garage, bathroom and outside outlets. Jeff has also provided re-wiring to allow installation of a large, flat panel HD television that lies flush with the wall, upgraded switch boxes, installed ceiling fans, ceiling light fixtures, can lights and bath exhaust fans, relocation of switches and many other services. Warren Electrical is the best!

I used them a couple of times. They’re absolutely excellent. The cost was reasonable. He was punctual. He knew exactly what was wrong. He came and fixed it. There’s a lot of quality control here, which you don’t find in many places anymore. Everything was just great. He’s very polite. He was just good. He has the highest certifications. He’s the only one I would use.

They did a good job but seemed pretty pricey.

Very nice guys who were very professional. Great to talk with these guys. I learned a lot about electrical problems in the house. They provided excellent service, and solved the problem rather quickly. I will certainly contact this company if I need electrical service in the future.

Contractor was a little late because of incorrect address on invoice. When they arrived the two gentlemen went right to work and were done in a short amount of time. They did find a part missing on the cover of the new fan, but were able to replace it by the end of the business day. All in all I am happy with the job and will use them again.

We lost power last Monday afternoon for no good reason. Called Dominion & did what they recommended to get it back on. They told us that if it happened again, we needed to get an electrician out to the house. The next afternoon, we lost power again but were able to get it back on. Went out again about 20 minutes later. When we went out to the circuit box, we noticed that it was hot to the touch. I called an electrician that we have used before but got answer and no reply from my message on their "emergency line". After waiting 15 min or so, I called Jeff Warren. He answered immediately, even though it was after 5pm by this time. He had me text him pictures of our circuit box and asked me a bunch of questions. He told us what we needed to do to get through the night without any more issues and rearranged his less pressing jobs the following AM to come take care of ours. He arrived on time, supplies in hand, and had the job completed in a very timely manner. We've not had any more issues since then. Jeff even texted me the next evening to see if everything was working properly. My kind of customer service! :) Jeff was AWESOME & I highly recommend Jeff Warren & Sons!

We contacted Warren Electrical Services via email in the morning, received a response the same morning from the owner of the company and a crew was at my house the same day. The crew was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The work required was explained to me before the work was accomplished. The crew took the time to explain the issue in detail, how it occurred, and what was required to correct the issue. The quality of work and expertise of the crew was worth the costs spent on the issue. I will definitely recommend Warren Electrical Services to my family, friends, and neighbors. Professional quality is what I expect for my money and Warren Electrical Services providing customer service well above my expectations. Great job!

He installed a new electrical outlet. He also put in new high hats in the kitchen. I would highly recommend him.

Jeff was very professional. Unfortunately I have not been able to have this work done because of other pressing repairs, however I will definitely consider Jeff when I decide to have the work accomplished

We were very pleased with Mr. Warren and are going to have him return to do further work. He was on time, professional and very competent. We had a kitchen circuit that, because of a botched oven repair, became inoperable, leaving the kitchen island and counter without power. Mr. Warren quickly diagnosed and repaired the circuit (even though it required going into a dark, damp crawl space). His fee was reasonable and during his work he was able to point out some things that might require further work (not all electrical in which he would have interest). He was not pushing additional work but explained the situation and we felt some of this suggestions were appropriate. We will certainly have him back.

Took a bit of sleuthing since the circuit followed a crazy path through the house and ended up in an outside receptacle. Jeff did the work himself and was very professional. Price was very fair given the time and effort it took to get at the source of the problem.

With any remodel there is always quite a bit of commotion and dust. Wade and Joe cleaned up behind themselves every day and really cared about their work. They arrived early and promptly each day and put in a long busy work day. Wade was in the attic and under the house countless times and always had the best disposition. Joe was working in the forefront communicating with Wade and always available to answer any questions we had. If an issue arose they found a solution in a calm professional manor. Jeff Warren came by to touch base during the renovation. He was true to his word in offering Angie's List members a 5% discount on the original estimate. We will definately use Warren Electrical when our creek is dredged and we will have to relocate the boat lift's electrical wiring. And when the dust settles from this kitchen remodel and we save up enough for the Master bathroom remodel, we will be calling Warren Electrical Services as well.

Very well. Jeff and Co. completed the service on time and to the best of all standards. He has provided service to us in the past and we will continue to use him in the future . He and staff have excellent knowledge and always make sure that every service is completed to code. It is very assuring to know and have an electrician who you can trust with your home.

Jeff Warren called to say he was stuck in traffic, which I appreciated. When he checked my living room lights, I told him I thought it might be the switch, but much to my embarrassment, the two light bulbs had simply burned out. To his credit, he didn't make fun of me. Jeff then assembled and replaced my dining room chandelier. I had no problem with his work, but he did lecture me about his politics the whole time he worked. I don't mind discussing politics with someone with whom I disagree, but I would have preferred the work without the lecture.

I like their price, responsiveness and quality of work. I would definitely use them again!

Jeff provided a detailed quote, stuck to his quoted amount and didn't add any extras that weren't requested and/or approved. He and/or his crew showed up on time and stayed a full day when it was scheduled for that amount of time. The areas were kept clean and material that would be used the following day was stacked neatly and they ensured the location of the material would not cause me any inconvenience. He kept me informed of the progress and the expected completion date. He was extremely patient when I had to inform him of delays caused by other contractors. When I called to let him know I could finally move forward with the remaining electrical work, he scheduled my work in a very reasonable amount of time. Final inspection passed without any issue. I even forgot that I had paid him the final holdback amount and he reminded me that I had already paid! I will certainly use his services again if needed and enthusiasticly recommend him.
