Towne & country was contracted to perform a home inspection on a house that I'm in the process of buying. Evan showed up early for the appointmeby, and went right to work. He was very professional and courteous as well as thorough in his inspection. I've done a lot of work on houses and generally know what to look for when it comes to deficiencies..and Evan definitely does his job well. He had a wealth of knowledge about home construction, good and bad. Would definitely recommend him. And definitely use him again.

He gave recommendations on what needed to be corrected and offered solutions for our issues related to the crawlspace. Everything went great - Evan, our inspector, encouraged me to ask questions, come with him to see issues he found on the property, and was extremely knowledgeable about all types of building materials, timelines we could be looking at for replacement, etc. He took the time to show me how I would maintain certain things that weren't broken, but would just need to be maintained. It was extremely educational. He is also fair - not a "gotcha" kind of inspector. He gave us options for the home seller to use for replacement items, high end and basic. We tested EVERYTHING. It was extremely thorough, and we were still done in about 2.5 hours. I would encourage new home buyers to go online to apply for insurance BEFORE your inspection. Evan answered questions that were on our application that I didn't have a clue about, such as whether or not our fireplace was considered "Manufactured" vs. "Masonry", etc.

Evan was great! He was already there when we arrived, early, and had been checking out the exterior of the home. He was very thorough on his inspection of the home, including going through the attic, the exterior of the house, all of the rooms, bathrooms, plumbing, electrical, etc. He took the time to explain to us what things were in the house, how old the appliances were, what we needed to be concerned about, and even taught us a few things along the way! He walked through the house with us at the end and went over everything in his report and actually showed us where the issues were and talked to us about what would need to be done. He was very professional, very knowledgeable and obviously cared about providing the best service possible. Highly recommended!
