+ -1 moreWhen Tito arrived on the 2nd day of painting it was a misty and wet day. He looked at what he had done and was ready to finish applying top coat. We fired him. Original estimate was $2900 to pressure wash, scrape, sand,caulk seams, spot prime as needed, apply 1 top coat to body of house, prime & top coat all windows and doors. Because of the horrible work he did on 1st day we were afraid to let him proceed. Paid him for materials & time for crew ($800). You just can't prep & paint a 67 year old house in 1 1/2 days.
Description of Work: Tito started by pressure washing our 1 1/2 story cedar shingled house. Damaged was done by trying to remove paint w/ pressure washer. Agreed to patch gouges as part of job. Used a mix of caulks,not wood putty. Tried to sand, scrape and prime in less than 4 hours and said prep was done. Began to paint house with top coat after lunch, starting at bottom of house. Said wanted to get job done faster than estimated 3 to 4 days. To stretch materials and save him money added thinner to paint with voided warranty on paint. This was verified by paint center where paint was purchased.
