I purchased the Roof Maintenance Package that Jon offered because I had experienced some water intrusion and had reason to believe that I some nails were leaking. The offer of the Roof Maintenance Package couldn't have been more timely. Jon contacted me by email immediately after I placed the order about scheduling the inspection. I didn't respond immediately because I didn't know exactly when I wanted to schedule the service due to my work schedule. A couple days later, Jon had a roof installation not far from my house and he contacted me again by email and asked if he could come by that day. I didn't get the email until that evening, but he did stop by and my son-in-law was home. Luckily, he knew the issues that I was experiencing so he could share the info with Jon. He did a detailed inspection of the roof, evaluated the issues and left and a detailed receipt with the work performed and recommendations. From time of purchase to completion of service was less than 3 days! Although I would like to have been here, it all worked out since my son-in-law was here. From what I understand, he was here for over and hour. I emailed him when I returned home and he sent me pictures of the nail that he repaired and some other areas of concern. My daughter and son-in-law said that he was very clean-cut, personable and professional. I highly recommend Jon and Roofing Systems of Hampton Roads. I will use him again.

Jon Montes was one of the first responders of six different companies that I looked at for my roofing project. He arrived at the time we agreed upon and was very professional about his proposal. After reviewing all of the proposals, I selected J. Montes not only because he had the best pricing, but seemed to be more responsive than the other companies to all of my questions. I had a bad experience with a roofer recently, therefore, quality of work and follow through were very important to me in my selection. I felt I could trust J. Montes and I agreed to have him do the job. His crew promptly arrived on the day of the job and commenced work. They were very professional and hard working, and completed the job in approximately two days (I have a big roof). The quality of the work was outstanding and the roof turned out great! After completing the roof, they did a thorough job of cleaning the premises of all debris. I still have not found any nails or other items on the ground since the job. During Hurricane Sandy, we experienced a small leak near the chimney. I called Jon on Monday, October 29th during the height of the storm, and he arrived two hours later to look at it. Due to the high winds, some flashing has detached from the chimney, and water was leaking in. He was able to quickly fix the problem and stem the leak. I was highly impressed with his dedication to customer service even on as miserable of a day as we experienced on that Monday. I highly recommend J. Montes for your roofing job not only for the quality of the original work, but his dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Jon Montes immediate returned my call. He was very prompt, professional and courteous. When repairs to old wood being replaced exceeded his estimate he did not raise his price.

Mr Montes was the first responder to my on line request for a roofing estimate and his price was in line with what I thought the job should cost. At the time of the estimate we were in process of purchasing the home and Mr Montes stayed in touch until closing and brought us some shingle samples to help us with color selection. After the sale closing he scheduled the job within a week of our choosing. The crew completed the roof job in less than a day and it looks very nice. The final price matched the estimate as specified. I had seen another job in my neighborhood which Mr Montes completed and it too looked very nice. j.Montes Roofing also had a positive review from other Angie's list members. I am very satisfied to date and would reccommend this business to anyone in need of roof replacement.

J. Montes Inc. did a fantastic job with our roof. John, the owner, was first class from start to finish. He came out to bid the job quickly, had the best price, and started the work promptly. His crew was professional, polite and did a wonderful job. John goes the extra mile by coating all the vents with a rust-proofing paint. This makes the vents match the roof and prevents rust from forming in the future. None of our neighbor's roofs had this done and it makes a huge difference in the appearance over time. Our roof turned out beautiful and the crew left our home exactly as they found it... no trash, nails or debris. I would definitely recommend J. Montes Inc. to anyone in the future!
