Larry arrived within the appointment timeframe, called ahead to notify he was on the way. He was very professional and courteous. Provided all information and recommendations in an easy to understand way. He was a pleasure to work with. The only criticism I have is my wit time on the phone was almost 15minutes and when I asked the cost of the service tune up I was told 59.00. I specifically asked if that was per unit (I have 3) or total for all units, she assured me it was total. When I was told of the bill it was per unit so I only had 2 units looked at and paid twice as much as quoted. The coil cleaning seemed a bit exspensive at 189.00 considering what it entailed. All told - Larry was a great representative for your company, I would trust him to come back again when needed.

Leon showed up on time. He reviewed my current system and gave me a multi-level quote. Every option was explained in detail. His service was professional and courteous as well as a pleasure to deal with. Leaon represented Michael & Son with the utmost integrity.

This is an update to an earlier review where I had scored this company highly. I am now changing the to an F since my install in May I have had to have them back out twice and now a third call is in to get the new unit working. Scheduling is a nightmare they state 24 hour service but on call means hit or miss had to turn them away once after waiting until 8pm only to call and find out tech was behind but would make it to my home. Not that late I don think after 8 pm is an acceptable time for any service provider to show up at a residence. Now for the third time the unit has stopped working, after some frustration on the phone about narrowing down a time ( had to threaten the BBB ) I am scheduled for tomorrow morning between 8 - 12. Will update how that goes.

This was an extremely complex, invasive project. I was apprehensive regarding the impact on my home and finances. Phillip provided the initial estimate. Steve assisted me with securing a reasonable price that was within my budget. I was assured this project would be completed in a minimal amount of time with the least amount of intrusion to my home life. They exceeded that goal. Every phase was explained in detail. The entire plumbing portion of the project took 7 days ,which was within the projected plan. The only unplanned expense was my water heater died and required replacement the day before the project completed. Ryan and Tyree treated my home as if it were their own. Furnishings were protected. Work space was minimal and contained. I would call them again if I had need of a plumber and I definitely would recommend them to my friends.

I am posting this review of Michael and Sons again because doesnt seem like the first went through. Besides Eric Wilson of Micahel and Sons was excellent, he deserves two. He went above and beyond my expectations in the area of customer service, cleaniness, and knowledge of the work performed. Besides that, I have hot water with strong pressure. He advised me about small home repair things that I could do to my new home and even unclogged by garbage disposal that had been caught on something and was not turning. He performed a free plumbing check, verifying that no leaks were present in the home. I will definitely call Micahel and Sons again for any future work and specifically request Eric.

Tim was an excellent representative for the company. Very nice and checked everything! He arrived on time and recommended the needed repairs. Will use Michael and Sons in the future. Tim explained pricing and made recommended for future service.

First let me say that the technician was very professional, polite and timely. The problem that I have is I feel like I was being taken advantage of. The technician quoted me $690 to replace the masterbath drain (which I had already purchased elsewhere)and replace the stripped out piece of pipe, but he also stated that there was no "J" trap on the tub.When I said that I needed to discuss the quote with my husband (who happened to be out of town at the time), he said, "well we do finance over 1k and your other tub doesn't have a "j" trap either". I reiterated that I needed to discuss this with my husband and will call them if we are interested. Ok, I am not a plumber, but I also know that the quote was more than double the average rate. (I had already received 1 quote prior to this). The kicker to this whole thing is that both of my tubs DO and DID have "J" traps when this technician came out. My cost to have this job done and not with Michael and Son was $220.00. WOW a $470 difference! Don't think I will be calling them again! Ever!

They came when they said they would. They were fast, efficient and very pleasant. The technician later followed up with a thank you post card.

Dale arrived within the established time and worked all day, a good part of it in the un-air-conditioned attic. He was very professional and careful of my house. He laid down tarps to ensure my furniture was protected and cleaned up at the end of the day. This is the first time I've used Michael's and Sons and will definitely use them in the future.

The installation was done professionally and neatly. The installers were on time and very neat. The old system was hauled away, And no mess was left in my yard.

Matthew from Michael & Sons responded to my internet inquiry on a Sunday evening when we had no cool air coming from our A/C unit. He arrived at the time I requested (actually a few minutes early), and immediately took a look at our thermostat, compressor and upstairs unit. He diagnosis our issue, replaced our part and even secured wires on the outside the unit that appeared to be vulnerable to our puppy's backyard area--all in less than 30 minutes! This company was wonderful to work with for our A/C issue. I put in a service request on a Sunday afternoon--I received a call within 15 minutes with a service call availability of less than 3 hours later---on a SUNDAY! There was no extra charge for a weekend or evening--just the straight diagnostic fee and then I was given a military discount since we are eligible. From the time I put my internet inquiry in to the time my A/C was back on and working was about 3 hour--again on a Sunday. Matthew Link, our technician, arrived on time, worked quickly and was honest about our A/C unit needs. He also praised our unit for good care and our staying on top of changing the filters keeping the coil in good condition. Very happy with our service today! This company is fantastic!!!! Gives one renewed faith in the way things get done. I went on line to set up an appointment; described my problem, gave them my personal info and hit ENTER. Literally 2 MIN. later my phone was ringing and I was scheduled right away for the following Monday. The technician called to say he was on the way and arrived on time. He brought his own door-mat with him, had his booties on his feet before I opened the door and had all the paperwork in a blue folder. He spent several hours checking out the equipment. He explained everything that needed to be done and used his computer pad to compare brands, pricing and financing. The new unit was ordered the same day. The installing techs called shortly before arrival early Friday morning. They had to rip out all the old equipment (I had no idea how much equipment or how large it was) before in stalling the new. By 5 PM They were pulling out of the driveway and there was no indication that anyone had been here and my husband and I were cool & comfortable once again. They have several time frame policies that are the same as cash. The only way to go if one can. Their annual home maintenance agreement not only covers the HVAC but an electrical annual inspection & maintenance. They also cover a number of other home needs as Remodeling and sewer & water lines. The three employees were all friendly, cheerful, respectful of persons and property and truly believed in their company's mission and vision of excellence. I am impressed! I was very happy with the entire experience. I called on Friday and got an appointment for Monday morning. Tim called prior to arriving to let me know what time he would arrive. I was very pleased with Tim's professionalism. He was very polite and extremely competent in his skills. Couldn't ask for a job on hist part, especially in an older home with the original deco tile in the shower. I certainly will use Michael and Sons again and if they accept requests will request Tim for any further electrical work.

I thought the were overpriced yet I was desperate to get the air conditioning fixed. I was told that I could get someone else to do it if I didn't like the price but their rate was the going rate. They were very prompt and professional. I was just unhappy with the high prices.

I cannot get Michael & Son to stop charging my Mastercard each month. I once had a monthly Home Care Plan with Michael & Son, which charged $29.00 each month to my Mastercard. Because I was about to sell my house, I contacted them to cancel the Home Care Plan. I spoke with Jennifer Anderson. She said they could not cancel it via my phone request, but I could email a written request to her. I emailed her the written request to cancel the Home Care Plan on March 25, 2014. She did not respond. I emailed her again. She did not respond. I called Michael & Son again. I spoke with Crystal Little. She did not have any record of my request to cancel the Home Care Plan. She asked me if I would email her the email I had sent to Jennifer Anderson, which I did while we were on the phone. She said she would cancel the Home Care Plan. She thought that was the end of our call, but I asked about refunding the $29.00 charge they were not authorized to charge me for April 2014. She said her supervisor would have to look into that and they would get back with me. I did not hear back from anyone at Michael & Son. I called again and was told they had mailed me a check for $29.00. I asked where they sent the check because I had sold my house and moved out of state by this time. They had sent the refund check to my old address. I asked if they could simply credit my card for the $29.00. They said they would look into it and get back with me. They never got back with me. I eventually received the check in the mail at my new address as USPS had forwarded my mail. At this point, I thought the Home Care Plan had been cancelled by Crystal Little as she stated on the phone (since Jennifer Anderson never did anything about my phone call and emails)... but on May 24, 2014 I was charged AGAIN for this Home Care Plan. There is a $29.00 charge from Michael & Son on this date. This charge is fraudulent. They have been told they do not have my permission to continue using my Mastercard as I have cancelled the Home Care Plan. I sent an email message to Jennifer Anderson, Crystal Little, their 'info' email account, and the owner of the company. No one will return my phone calls or my email messages.

Called Michael & Sons for a free "second opinion" following another company's recommendation that I needed to replace a coil. Technician Ryan S. systematically evaluated the system and explained to me everything he was doing each step of the way. I really appreciated his effort to be informative. While he found the coil to be OK and the system charged sufficiently, he also explained what the problem was that led the previous technician to conclude a need to replace the coil. He went on to recommend a much less costly adjustment to boost the system's efficiency. Very glad I called Michael & Sons and look forward to follow-up with Ryan.

The technician spent more time writing up an estimate than doing any tune-up. Even though the system did not work because the outside fan was defective the technician did not do any servicing or cleaning of the unit.

It went very smoothly. Ask for Eric. He is outstanding.

The tech came to service my system and he found it in really bad shape The prior owner had rigged the system to get a bit longer life on a 20 year old unit. Larry was great he explained and showed me everything he found and gave me the choice of three options to go with. I was not expecting to have to replace everything but after looking at all the issues and age on the units it was obvious a new one was needed. The installers were on time and put down canvas tarps all over my home to protect the flooring and were considerate of the walls. The install was not easy and it was a very hot day but the two of them remained cheerful and took it all in their stride . I would recommend this company to anyone, they have a variety of services and if each department is as good as the A/C guys they deserve top marks

The technician, Josh Cook, came very quickly and assessed our problem. He came in a timely manner and was very efficient. He quickly determined that the storm had effected our electrical system throughout the house due the electrical strike. He recommended installing a whole home surge arrestor to help protect our electronics in the future. The repair was done quickly We would highly recommend their service to others.

The initial appointment was made promptly. The electrician came out at the scheduled time and met with my husband who informed him what we needed done. Firstly he told my husband that we did not need permits for this work which is 100% incorrect. Having checked with our city you need permits for this work. He also tried to upswell my husband with a whole house surge protector which had already been installed three years ago (at least I'm assuming it was done, now in wonder). He told my husband he would have three different estimates to us by the next day. By Thursday, we still received nothing, so I called the company who said they would contact the tech. It is now one week later and nothing has been received. I called to cancel my service agreement and the two people I spoke to did NOTHING to make this right. We are very disappointed in the lack of responsiveness in light of having paid monthly for three years. UPDATE: I guess the squeaky wheel got the oil. The regional manager called me within a half hour of my cancellation of my Home Care Agreement. He was EXTREMELY apologetic for the situation and insisted they wanted to make things right. (Note to self -- get in contact with regional manager if you encounter problems). We got many calls from the company to get this matter taken care of. My husband and I decided to just get the electric to the hot tub. Estimate was professional and installation was right on. I had never had a problem with this company until the above noted incident, and am pleased with the final outcome.

They were very courteous, gave us 3 choices to update the systems. The results were great! They were very prompt, I called Tuesday to have them fix a sensor light, and they were out Wednesday to repair it. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about your company! Starting with Rusty who came out to give me an estimate on replacing my entire AC system from oil to gas, including duct work. Your company was the only one who took the time to even go into my crawl space and discover the "horror" I had under there with my duct work. Rusty was COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL, and explained everything! Price was a concern for me, but regardless, I would have chosen your company for his PROFESSIONALISM and attention to the needs of my household. He wasn't trying to "sell" me a system, he was providing me solutions based on the needs of my home and family! However, your wonderful service did not stop there. Tom and Daniel came out to my home to install, and they were AWESOME! Always RESPECTFUL, PROFESSIONAL, and they answered any questions I may have had. The work they did was beautiful, and I never thought I would say that about an AC install. They took PRIDE in their work and their ATTENTION to detail was beyond measure, they literally created a work of art that looks beautiful in my home as well as functional. Finally, we have Matthew who came out to do the gas lines in my home. Once again, the services he provided was superb. He was also very PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, and he explained everything to me and answered all questions I may have had. He took his time, and once again showed that attention to DETAIL! His install was neat and complete and took no beauty away from my home! The skills, knowledge, professionalism, and finished work of these gentlemen truly say a lot about your company! These gentlemen are an EXCELLENT representation. They were all COURTEOUS, COMPETENT PROFESSIONALS,and I am so happy that Michael & Son does everything because this will be my one stop. I am referring you to all my friends, and also recommending Tom, Daniel, and Matthew by name :-) I pray you guys continue to take care of your customers with such EXCELLENCE and grow beyond measure! There were two appointments at the same time: one for plumbing and another for electrical. Both technicians were prompt and took care to cover their feet when they entered the home. The plumber looked at the slow bathroom drain first and suggested that it would probably clear up when he unclogged the stopped one. He did clear the clog, but the other drain now moves slower than it did before. I called the next business day and was told they'd send the same plumber out as soon as he had an opening. The next day, the appointment clerk called to say he was coming, but I would be charged a service fee since the drain wasn't under warranty. The electrical was for a free assessment and evaluation to upgrade a couple of fixtures. All went well with this, but I will not pay this company to do work in my house if they don't standby the work they do (unless it's under warranty).

They were good. The first guy that came out did the inspection. They sent another technician to get a better evaluation, but he already had a heads up and was not looking at the unit with fresh eyes and I was told he would be. They were a little pushier than I anticipated. They were all very polite and professional to work with. They also sent an electrician out and he did a free electrical inspection. Their prices were average.
