Joseph Beck For All Your Roofing Needs

This is the second time Mr. Beck has performed roof repair for my family. As with the first time last year, he responded personally and quickly. His prompt and quality repair work relieved me of the worry of missing shingles that could have caused water intrusion. Based on Mr. Beck's work ethic, professionalism, quality of work, and lengthy experience, I highly recommend him for any type of roofing work.

I needed minor repair work on parent's roof (missing shingles, popped nails, flashing). After dealing with various local roofing companies over decades on my own home, I've learned that workmanship varies considerably, and many companies don't want small jobs, regardless of your past business with them on large jobs. After a friend and a contractor in another field highly recommended Mr. Joseph Beck, I found that, in addition to great Angie's List reviews, he is "accredited" and A+ rated with Better Business Bureau, has the required license from Virginia DPOR (Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation, [*** Link removed ***] with no disciplinary actions, and has a long history of roofing work in our area. Therefore, I contacted Joseph, who personally inspected and then performed the work. He was extremely professional, honest, and thorough, and did outstanding work and was only interested in repairing the roof to make it last several more years of expected life, and not in selling unneeded services. I was very impressed with Mr. Beck, am grateful that he was recommended to me, and will definitely call him for all future roofing needs.

Outstanding. Despite a very busy schedule Mr. Beck was able to stop by for an estimate on his way home from work. He discovered that a nail was causing the roof leak and removed it. He also fixed some of the vinyl siding while he was up on the ladder. He did not charge for his services. You don't see this every day. I will call him for all my future roofing issues. I appreciated his time.

Excellent - Joe and his team came in and in 40 minutes had cleaned up the hold, taken off the tarp and put in new roofing. You can't tell the difference between the original room and the current patch. They were fast and efficient and I thoroughly appreciate not having a hole in my roof any more...

Everything went very smoothly. Joe always called me back in a timely manner and was very pleasant to talk to. When he came to preform the work he was professional and seemed to be knowledgeable. He charged me almost half of what another roofing company had quoted me.

The roof was a bit tricky since it was tied into one of my neighbors. The estimate was reasonable and fair (especially compared to some of the other A-rated Angie's list roofers). Joe and team knocked out the job in one day, very soon after our initial contact. He also replaced a few pieces of plywood, re-hung a section of the gutter and reattached soffit, without adding change orders or increasing the cost. We went back and forth on color choices, in the end, I deferred to his judgment. The color choice was excellent and the roof looks amazing. To date, after rain and high winds, there have been no problems or leaks noted. The best part, aside from the roof being complete, Joe is fantastic to work with. He was flexible with my availability, communicative and one of the nicest people. Having worked with a number of builders and contractors for more than 15 years, I am glad I found him - he is definitely one of the good ones.

Joe and his team did the entire job in one day. Very responsive, honest. We cleaned up several old nails and some tar paper from the yard, but I think that's the norm for any roofing job. We saw neighbors getting their roofs replaced, and the jobs were taking several days. Joe and his team did it on one day. Great job overall, and highly recommended.

It went amazingly well, from start to finish.

Joe and his crew did an outstanding job. The best thing about Joe is that he took care of my decaying roof for a couple of years by replacing shingles as they would fall off the roof. When a wind storm would rip a few shingles of my decaying roof, I would call Joe and he would come and fix the problem spots without trying to sell me a new roof. His price for the patch work was extremely reasonable. When it came time to replace my roof and sky light, he already earned my loyalty. His price was right and he did the job right and all in one day. I highly recommend Joe. Joe did it again. During a recent wind storm (March, 2012), some flashing blew off the side of my house. I called Joe and asked him to repair it when he could, and leave the invoice in my mailbox. Joe called me and said he took care of the flashing (he did his usual professional job) and didn't charge me a dime. I don't expect him to work for free, but he did it this time without thinking twice about it. He is honest, does quality work, and goes the extra mile for his customers.

The jobs have always gone smoothly and professionally. Joe and his crew are very friendly and are always going out of their way to ensure that the job is done right. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants a job will done and at a great price.

To the best of my knowledge, Mr. Beck did a great job. He was professional and personable in his demeanor. We discussed briefly that I would be needing a new roof soon and he indicated that he would be able to provide that service also. I am looking forward to using his services in the future.

Called Joe. Explained that attic fan had died. He quoted estimate over the phone and said he would secure the needed fan. He followed up within 24 hours to let me know he had fan and was able to come within two days. Showed up right on time and took care of things with minimal fuss. I also have dogs and he was completely comfortable with the dogs and very friendly with them (I like that!). Brought final paperwork in and it matched stated quote.
