Jo was great to work with. His estimate was very affordable and his workmanship was top quality. He was very responsive to our requests and left our yard neat and clean. I would definitely hire him again and highly recommend him.

Great install and even better person. Jo is true to his word and was the most affordable out of the 4 estimates that I received. He did great work with minimal damage to the lawn. I have a huge lawn (approx 5500 sq ft) and the job took half a day the first day with a follow up next for adjustments and what not. I was surprised at how quick it took. There were a few concerns that I had but Jo was quick to resolve with no complaints. First, the pump that was placed in the crawl space didn't allow enough room for an individual to move freely to and from the crawlspace. Corrected the next day. Also, one of the sprinkler heads didn't pop back down and there was a narrow area in my backyard that wasn't getting watered. Corrected once Jo had the proper sprinkler heads. Give Jo a chance and get a free estimate. Act fast though as he stated to me that his installs are getting backed up.

Joe is a very nice guy but totally lacking in customer satisfaction. He installed a sprinkler system on our lawn and it works great. Then we hired him to install a rust removal tank system to prevent iron build up on the driveway. It would work for a week and stop. We would call Joe, leave messages, but he would almost never a return call. we spent about $500 on the tank. Finally Joe did come out to fix it. So at that point i hired a service to professionally clean my driveway of the rust, thinking Joe’s system would now keep our driveway and street free of rust. Guess what, it stopped working after a week or two. . I’ve been trying to call Joe, leave messages but no reply. Till now. The wind up is i spent $500 for a useless rust removal tank from Joe, wasted another $400 on professional rust removal service, and my driveway and concrete are a disaster. I’m sorry to write this but Joe did not even try to call back, let alone make things right. I am very upset. And btw, my HOA is always in the lookout for homeowners who do not kept their property in tip- top shape and the rust is a huge deal.

Jo is a terrific guy and runs a very good company. He not only installed my irrigation, which is great, but checks up and stands by his work. I had a switch go bad (4 years so not too bad) and he came right away to help trouble shoot and make it work again. I would highly recommend him for any work related to your system.

We had several sprinkler heads that were either not rotating or under-spraying. We also had a broken pipe by one. The team worked quickly and efficiently to repair all issues for a great price. Will definitely hire again!

Really BAD , first he charged me $200.00 before seeing whats wrong he positioned the Sprinkler and thats it then he charged me $25.00 for using my debit card . I called him and complained he refunded $100.00.not very Nice business .

I will hire joe again. He is a pro and knows the business. Price was great and work was great. Nuff said.

He was prompt and very professional

I called Jo, left a message about our unground sprinkler system that was flooding an area of our yard. He called back the next day, said he would be in the area the next day and wold stop by, investigate and let me know what the remedy would be. It's a rental so I let the tenants know to be expecting him. That was a month ago. Tenants say he never came by. I have since reached out to him and gotten no response. Totally unprofessional to leave someone hanging with no contact, explanation or update.

Jo did an outstanding job in installing a new irrigation system at my home in Chesapeake. He gave me a very fair price, showed up on time, and completed the job as scheduled. Jo does work on a handshake, is easily accessible, personable, and promptly responds to all questions. After the installation, he came back, when requested, to make some final adjustments. I would recommend him to any homeowner.

Called and left a message to have my sprinkler system repaired. No one returned my call. Guess they don't want my money.

It went beautifully.. He arrived promptly, check out the system, found the problem and proceeded to repair. We also had a few small things for him to adjust. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely use the company again, if needed..

Joe is a great guy and he had the best price. I haven't put the system in yet but he will be the one I contact when it's time. Guys like Joe are who you are looking for as he is a local business owner that does the work himself. Helps keep the cost down and I can tell he takes pride in his work.

The owner came to provide a quote and was prompt in returning my phone calls when I had additional questions. He did give an estimated timeframe as to when work could start. I followed up with him when it was closer to that timeframe to confirm a specific date. I was most impressed that the owner and his son were the ones doing the work (irrigation), Most of the time, companies just hire other workers. The drilling of the well was done by another company but payment was inclusive in the quote from Jo's Irrigation. The owner offered assistance in coming back to adjust (coverage area ...etc.) or educate/demonstrate (how to add additional lines to drip irrigation, how to winterize) if needed.

They said it would be towards the end of last week and I told them we were retired they said "oh great we can fit you in if we get an opening". No one called, no one showed so I give them a F. I talked to the guy, nice guy and we understood each other. We've both been in business together, he said "oh yeah I'll be but it wont be till the end of next week." Terrific.

Very well. Price comparable to other estimates.

They are fair priced and easy to work with. Everything was straight forward.

Contacted Jo's Irrigation for estimate of sprinkler repair. Joe Hoal, the owner, arrived promptly at the agreed upon date and time for the estimate. I was very pleased with his knowledge and professionalism displayed. During the inspection, we discussed repairs to the existing well system which was cycling. The following day I contacted Joe directly and requested he include an estimate for the well repairs as well. After a week and receiving no estimate, I contacted Jo's Irrigation via email. After another week, the estimate was received without mentioning the repairs to the well system. I replied via email requesting the status of the well repairs but received no response. Three days later, I called Joe directly and was given a verbal range but I requested the written estimate be updated and resent. After two weeks and not receiving an updated estimate, I called Joe again, and requested the revised estimate within the next five days. I never received for communication nor an updated estimate. I chose to take my business to another firm. I felt Joe's expertise was impressive and the estimate for sprinkler repairs was in line with other estimates received. My concern over lack of responsiveness to communications, particularly if the job was not performed 100% to my satisfaction or subsequent issues arose, caused me not to select Jo's Irrigation.

Not good. Called this service provider yesterday morning and left a message that I had a leak coming from my pump, a broken sprinkler head, and needed some general maintenance of my sprinkler heads. Did not receive a call back, so I called Bay Area Irrigation. The girl who answered the phone took down all my information and made me an appointment for this Friday. Thank you Bay Area Irrigation!
