The whole story, from start to finish, starts at the bottom e-mail: Joe had sent another e-mail asking if I would accept a bank check for the refund (from JGM Enterprises JULY 8, 2014) Helen Rose I talked to my sales rep. with Angies list and he has advise me not to send you the refund direct from my company to you. He has informed me to let you know that you need to call them and request a refund (not email) and they will give you a full refund. I am sorry that my company did not fulfill our commitment to you. We have had a lot of jobs thru Angies list BIG DEAL and every job had issues' that extended and made the jobs more involved, and those issuess had to be address. We tried to fulfill all of the Angies deals and unfortunate that the one we didn't get to in time was yours. If you happen to have other projects, I hope you do consider my company and I would give it my top priority. It was great and I was very happy with it. The one that stood out the most is their tiling. The finished product was outstanding.

Meticulous, knowledgeable, and patient are words which aptly describe Joe Maynard! I had no idea of what I wanted to do when we first met (due to an Angie's List big deal) and Joe provided me with many ideas. We were delayed several times in the process of redoing the kitchen due to family health issues and because I mistakenly selected the wrong floor tile; instead of berating me, Joe simply let me make choices at my own pace. He gave me a budget to work with and suggested vendors to visit; when my choices went over budget, he let me know approximate extra costs. The final results are so much more than I ever expected when the project began! All of the people that Joe had working at my house were pleasant and professional - their work was first class! This was a very high quality job! If in need, I would not hesitate to request Joe's help again.

Excellent, very happy with final product. Joe responded very quickly after purchase from Angie's List. He came over to check out job. We discussed a recent leak and my concern about age of plumbing and possible mold. Joe recommended multiple sources for tile and other products. We were in no rush to complete and he was very flexible with his schedule. We had to postpone work due an extended family medical issue, tile in getting the tile and delay in a special order for vanity top but Joe worked around all the delays and my wife's and my work schedule. Once things got started, Joe provided reallistic daily goals so the work did not get in the way of the family. Tile work was done exceptionally well. Painting was done quick and professionally. Joe did a lot of the install himself and when he wasn't here he sent good people. We are very happy with the work and will have Joe and the team back for more work.

We have already referred them to friends in need of good, reasonable and reliable service.

Joe and his team were top-notch professionals. He and his handyman partner, Lanny, did most of the work. We had a challenging bathroom remodel that included detailed demolition to avoid damaging wall tiles or the tub (which we wanted to remain intact). Joe was extremely positive and demonstrated a "can do" spirit. He was very receptive to our ideas and we couldn't be happier with the end results.

I've had an absolutely great experience with this company and it was maybe my best experience with contractors in general. They are reliable and if they promise to do something, they will do it for sure. If they promise to come at 10 o'clock, they'll be here at 10 o'clock. They are creative and accurate. When we discussed options, they made their own suggestions, which was much better than our thoughts. They have a really good balance between quality and price. They protected me from doing unreasonably expensive things and suggested something simpler without sacrificing quality.

Joe has been working with me on realizing my dream of a very contemporary townhouse. The first major project was the third floor master suite. The master bath was gutted, layout totally reworked to include a water closet, the plumbing rerouted, walk-in shower w/bench installed, limestone tile with intricate pattern laid, cut-out frosted "windows" installed to give light to the stairwell, wall hung vanity & medicine cabinets installed, downlights though-out installed, glass inset shelves built & installed in water closet, frosted glass pocket doors installed. The entire third floor (walls & ceiling) was replastered to eliminate the outdated swirl finish. The second major project was the replastering of the stairwells, two-story foyer and hallways (walls & ceilings) on the second floor. There were some snags along the way as this was a massive remodel, not a new build, so he was working with tying in existing structures and systems. As it is a contemporary design (developed by my brother in California), there was no ability to hide mistakes with trim or paint texture. Some of the methods for installation had to be created. I wasn't happy with the paint job but Joe got the issues corrected. JGM is very busy so sometimes I have to "wait in line" to get started on the next project. He has a team of highly skilled subcontractors who will work with you on developing creative solutions to design or installation problems. While the prices may not be the cheapest in the area, they aren't the most expensive either. As there were no architectural drawings to work off, a good portion of my cost came from change orders as I added more complex installations.

There was no work done by this company.

The setup of the and start date for the work was slower than desired due to medical issues but once started it went smoothly.The one issue was a potrion of the wall by the front door had a hand painted tree on it. There was a seam issue a few inches above the tree and I was hesitant but agree to get the seam repaired. I am still not pleased with how the plaster and paint job was completed.

He came out the same day we called and gave us an estimate. We bought the house 3 years ago and the previous contractor ran out of money so he will finish the work that was left by the old contractor

This is the second time I have used joe manard and he is top notch. Great followthrough, clean, neat and does it right. I could not ask for more. I did receive lower bids but I had used him for two other projects and found his work meeting my qualifications. Great job very happy.

Any delays and cost overruns (aren't there always some!) were caused by me making design and product changes. Please see the work performed. I'm planning on using JGM Enterprises for the rest of the massive townhouse remodel . . . but next time I'll have the design completely worked out and the products on site before starting the job.

The quality and speed of work was excellent. Knowing we were time constrained, three workers started at noon one day and those plus one more finished everything by early afternoon the next. All work was high quality and the price was much less than we had expected.
