Description of Work: Needed an estimate on a roofing replacement, but once James showed up he determined that a replacement wasn't necessary. Actually, what needed to be done was a siding repair. Very honest company and personnel. Would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Jayhawk Exteriors installed a new roof on my home several weeks ago. I was very impressed with Mike and his crew. Mike took great care in detailing every step in the process and the value of the shingles and roofing materials to be used and delivered on everything he promised! His crew was exactly on time every day, carefully cleaned up every day and took care not to damage our shrubs and landscaping with tarps and sheets of wood. Mike stopped by several times a day to drop off materials, monitor his crew and to touch base with me on their progress. I highly recommend Jayhawk Exteriors! Michael B.

Description of Work: Jayhawk was the low bid of 5 for installation of rain gutters. They were prompt and efficient. I recommend their work in the strongest possible terms. The same company did our roof several years ago. We are pleased with that as well.

Description of Work: Outstanding Service. Experts in their field. "Chili" gave us an in depth explaination of the pricing, what exactly needed to be done and what "surprises" he might run into during the job, that could add to the cost, in order to replace our roof and have it done correctly. His crew arrived exactly on time and worked continiously to complete the job. Throughout the process Chili emailed photos of the "surprises" with detailed explanations of what was being done to correct the problem. Upon completetion of the job Chili again sat down with us, went over the warranty information and explained each of the areas that had to have additional work to repair damage. We had been aware prior to the start of the job that we had some damage because of leaks that had been "repaired" numerous times by others but had never been resolved . Chili's photos and explaination of the work done to correct the situation gives us confidence that our roof is now structurally sound and leak free. Overall we couldn't be happier. Their expertise and commitment to providing the best product, service and price is exceptional. We are looking forward to working with them again on our next project - siding and trim.

+ -1 moreWe feel that they gave us a fair estimate, and they had a package which they gave us which included testimonials from past customers. Everyone seemed to be satisfied. As for us, they began work when they said they would and worked very diligently. They were very careful with the debris and took time to cover important items like our heat pump etc. to protect it from flying debris. They finished on time, and it looks great!!

From Mike to Chili to Ryan who actually came out, they were all professional, courteous, and easy to deal with! From now on, any roofing, siding/trim, windows, or gutters I need will only come from Jayhawk Exteriors. KUDOS to all involved. I cannot say enough good things about them. Don't hesitate to use them for any of your needs. There are not enough companies today that worry about customer service. We need to support those that do.
Description of Work: Jayhawk Exteriors came to my house to fix a leak in my roof when Tropical Storm Ernesto hit NE North Carolina and SE Virginia. The roof was less than 18 months old (not put on by Jayhawk which I now regret). Jayhawk was out within two hours of me calling them for help (during the rain). The company who put the roof on did not even try to help for three days. Jayhawk Exteriors came out and diverted the water to keep my ceiling from falling in. The worker who came out was extremely nice, professional, and did not seem put out to have to come out in the rain.

+ -1 moreI contracted through Home Depot. They had excellent work ethics and excellent work performance. Each days clean up was excellent. They were polite and punctual. The foreman answered all questions and concerns. They actually answered their cell phones. I didn't have to deal with answering machines/receptionists etc. That is a big plus. Hire Jayhawk directly, not Home Depot.
Description of Work: They removed over 19 square feet of 1939 concrete tile roofing, replaced/repaired any rotten wood, replaced/installed drip edges, and replaced flashing.

They came out when they said they would and did a very good job. They cleaned up everything very well when they were done. They stuck by their word and were very reliable. We had one tab broken and they came out immediately to fix it.
