Excellent, we had to hunt and search to find a leak which turned out to be another vendor's issue, not theirs. Arnie went above and beyond what he had to do. Great guy!

Nothing happened, company couldn't be contacted with anything more than a recording and a promise to call back. Empty promises.

They were able to start the day they gave the estimate and fixed the largest problem right before a big storm over the weekend. They then returned on Monday morning and completed the work.

The weather got really bad at one point. I called him several times and he said he was coming and he never showed up. I gave him a second chance. He wasn't really consistent on calling back to reschedule. When he ended up doing the work it was good and we had absolutely no problems with the work. Online it said there was a 50 dollar coupon at Angie's list. He said it would still be valid and when he gave me the bill he said I was supposed to show him that when he got there the first time. I don't want to be too hard on him, and I think he would have done a better job and been more punctual had the weather been better. I would recommend him and use him again. I would advise people, if they want to get the discount make sure they clarify everything beforehand.

They were very efficient, they got it done in 4 days. Their clean-up was immaculate. They brought samples of full shingles when we were still deciding what to use. They took everything off our deck and covered it so the debris wouldn't get on it.

The project went very well from start to finish. Contacts with all employees from receptionist to workmen and supervisors was friendly, professional and efficient. Even though the work took longer than expected due to the weather, the attention to detail never faltered. They were very careful with my home and furnishings and cleaned up all of the mess. I would use this company again and would highly recommend them to others.

I called for an estimate on a Thursday. A crew showed up Monday morning and completed the work early Tuesday morning. Arnie Ireland stopped by several times to check the progress and help out. Several sheathing boards were removed and replaced due to water damage. The price included 120 feet of new ridge vents, additional weather proofing in the valleys, new flashing and new plumbing vent collars. The crew was friendly, polite and hard-working (so was Arnie). No blaring radios or yelling. Remarkably, five men never needed the bathroom during an 11 hour day. Tuesday afternoon the waste trailer was gone, and the only sign that they were here was a cleaner yard than when they arrived.

It went very well. They have been prompt and polite. The gentleman we worked with was very helpful and knowledgeable, and he seems easy to work with so far.

The roofing job went very well. They showed up on time for the estimate and the job. They worked all day but couldn't finish because they ran short on shingles. The crew returned the next day and completed the work and cleaned up nicely. The siding/trim job was performed under a separate contract. The job was performed by another outfit with poor standards. The man in charge of this crew left for a vacation the day after the job began and the guys left to finish the job were not up to the challenge. It took them almost ten days and they still weren't finished. They left trash all over the yard, including their used drink bottles and lots of cigarette butts. I called Jayhawk and expressed concerns that this crew was struggling with the job. To their credit they came out and inspected the work, apologized for the quality of the job, and replaced the crew with some more capable personnel. The new crew stripped off much of the old crew's work, replaced everything in about two days and cleaned up the yard. The guys from Jayhawk were very responsive to my calls and I felt confident that the job would be done to my satisfaction. It ultimately was. They expressed regret for using this particular company for the siding job and said they would use my feedback improve their service. With the exception of the first company to perform the siding/trim job, everyone else was very professional, helpful and responsive.

They where very friendly when they where there working for us. They where very professional about the job. They had showed up on time to do the work for us. They had done a good job at cleaning up when they where done.

After I called, Ian came out two days later, which was fine since it was not an emergency and I had a pan under the leak in the attic. He handled the matter very professionally by giving me his honest assessment on the leak, after doing a through inspection of the entire roof. I really appreciated the inspection in that another company had come out earlier to give a quote and did not provide that service. Ian quoted me their minimum price to repair a simple leak, which was $125, but with the Angie's coupon of $50 that reduced it to $75. I would suggest that other customers always get the quote first before submitting the coupon in that it keeps the company honest on their estimate. I accepted the quote and Ian repaired the roof immediately, since that is all he does for the company. He performed the work in a thorough, efficient and professional manner. The only thing that I would suggest for improvement would be a time limited warranty on the repair, which the company does not provide. Although, I did a marked up note on the agreement for him to come back if it leaked after the first rain, which was not necessary in that it has held up fine through at least two showers since then.

Arrived on time and the job was completed on time. Cleaned up all the debris when they had finished.

Very professional from start to finish. We called for an estimate and Sherry Kenchilae came as scheduled and presented a company packet that discussed insurance and had letters of recommendation. Once the job began, she was involved from start to finish and came back the day after the job to look everything over and answer any questions we had. Jayhawk presented a very competitive bid and followed through from start to finish. Class act!

It took much longer then expected to complete and representations made by the company rep were questionable and disappointing. Originally, we asked if there was a military discount and we were told no. We then saw a flyer offering military discounts. The rep then claimed not to know we were military and that it didn't matter since she had undercharged us anyway although the quote was comparable to the other estimates we received. Initial work was sloppy. Caulking everywhere, globbed on and dripping down sides of soffets and window trim. Damage to brand new porch as well. Company repaired porch and attempted to resolve sloppy work. Company rep agreed with assessment that job was poorly done. After repeated attempts to fix, she began to claim that it was the standard in the industry. She then admitted she hired subcontractors who had never done window trim before. Eventually, there was not more the company would do and the contract was paid. Disappointing experience.

The guys took longer than expected. I had to keep making a list on what to fix two times. After a month and a half, they finally got the extra material and additional items finished.

Jay Hawkins Exteriors was a wonderful company. They explained everything that they would be doing to my house so I could fully understand what was being done. They amount of time it took to do the job was exactly what they stated. When they were finished, they cleaned up everything just how they found it. The price that they quoted was competitive, and this is a company I would definitely recommend.

Jay Hawke Exteriors came out to my house a week after calling them. They are very professional and courteous. When they were finished they walked around our property with a magnet to pick up any debris so the kids wouldn't get hurt on anything. My roof looks perfect and I am very pleased with the job that they did.

I selected the company from Angie's List and requested an estimated for a leak in the roof which I received several days later. At that time I let the repair man know that I had roof shingles on site that were to be used so the cost should have been for repair only. After the work was completed, the office called and I paid by credit card and requested a invoice. I received the invoice and the description listed was "Repair roof leak". I called the office and asked for a invoice with the details of the work done and a description of the work done was rambled off to me over the phone. At that time I requested a detailed invoice in writing and was told a invoice would be sent when they had time. Guess what, to date I have not received that detailed invoice. My mistake was telling this company the home was rental property and I was out of town. As for the quality of their work, I feel that could be a direct reflect of their customer service.

This is a great company. I am very satisfied with their work and the price I paid for the roof. They did the work in a timely fashion and there were no hassles with scheduling. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

The sofitt was installed and looked very wavy. It was torn down and redone. They did not caulk everywhere they were supposed to and where they did caulk, did not look professional. They did not cut the airholes in all the sofitt on the back half of the house. The flood lights were only screwed into the vinyl sofitt so I could swing them easily side to side by touching them. They installed my satellite cable under the lip of the siding which fell across my back door. They also screwed my electrical to the surface of the sofitt which looked tacky. I talked to a lawyer who told me that I had no recourse because the contract is so vague and they are not electrical contractors. Chile, the owner, knew there were issues but never showed up on site or contacted me to see what he could do to help.

THE ROOFERS WERE VERY GOOD AND DID A QUICK PROFESSIONAL JOB. THE FOLLOW UP WAS POOR. THEY LEARNED THAT THEY HAD IDENTIFIED THE OLD SHINGLES INCORRECTLY, THEY WERE ASBESTOS WHICH REQUIRED A DIFFERENT DUMP. THEY LEFT THE SKIT HERE FOR 5 DAYS AND I HAD TO INSIST THEY THEY REMOVE IT. THEY ALSO RIPPED THE SCREEN ON THE PORCH IN TWO PLACES. THE FOREMAN DENIED THAT HIS PEOPLE DID THIS, SO THE SALESPERSON REPAIRED IT HERSELF. VERY POORLY. I WILL HAVE TO RE DO IT. THEY ALSO CHANGED THE QUOTE MIDWAY THROUGH THE PROJECT SAYING THE FLAT ROOF REQUIRED A DIFFERENT ROOF AND WOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL 700.00 DOLLARS. I WAS NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT BUT WHAT COULD I DO. I AGREED TO PAY. AFTER ALL THAT THE SALESPERSON CANCELLED TWO APPOINTMENTS TO PICK UP THE CHECK AND DELIVER THEY WARRANTY. I TOOK THE CHECK TO THE COMPANY AND CALLED TO FOLLOWING DAY TO ASK FOR THE WARRANTY. WITH MUCH HUFFING AND PUFFING, IT WAS DELIVERED THAT EVENING.

Outstanding job and outstanding to work with. Price was consistent with other estimates. Showed up on schedule/on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were fast and efficient. Personal involvement each day by co-owner of the company. Would hire again in a minute.

Outstanding in all regards. This job was in conjunction with a new roof. These guys rock, 100% punctual, professional. Estimates were slightly less than the other general/roofing contractors I had in, as these guys are exterior specialist, not just roofers.

I believe he came out on a Wednesday or Thursday and gave me a estimate. He returned on Monday in the afternoon and took a few hours to complete the job.
