Overalll experience was great. They arrived on time and were quick to finish the job but no so quick as to have it inspected by their 25 year veteran numerous times throughout the installation. The representative was very friendly and helpful. He left color samples with us to decide and when we still couldn't make up our minds, he was able to give us recent jobs completed by them that were close by and we were able to see and decide for ourselves. We ended up going with his color recommendation and we were very glad we did. It really made a difference. The representative even temporarily repaired our roof until the replacement was even scheduled without any cost or obligation. That showed me this guy had integrity! The Positives: Very quick, nice clean up and the 25 years of experience showed. The Negatives: Not told about having the Direct TV dish having to be removed and that I needed to get it reinstalled. Luckily, I was able to call and have a technician install it the next day for $56. Not too big of a deal but it would have been nice to prepare. I highly recommend Jayhawk Exteriors for your roofing needs.

They quoted $1000 more than the company that I used. The person, who came out to my house, was professional and courteous. Unfortunately, his price was a little too much. I will consider them for a quote in the future.

Company was interview by my agent at my request, and given the job. I went by the job on designated day of job and found said work being done in a professional and careful manner. The first thing I notice was the refuse cart was in place and wheels secured. Some one was in charge and acted as spokesman when I ask questions. I was told the job would be completed by end of day, and it was. My tenant informed me that they did a complete clean up and left the job site as they found it. To-date I have had not problems and I fully expect to contact this company for any future roofing and perhaps other home improvement jobs.

Arnie at Jayhawk is great. I am really pleased with the work. When you spend $7800 you expect the job to go flawlessly and it did.

Three days ago, they installed brand new living room windows for me. The two gentlemen that were sent out to install these windows were fabulous. The youngest man laid the caulking, and he was an absolute artist. Laying caulking like he did is not easy; it takes talent. They are great, high-quality windows. My wife loves them as well. I've used them for several home improvement projects; I am very pleased with this company.

We did our homework and called out to several contractors to get estimates and do interviews. The time was a little off because we were going on vacation the following week so some we had to postpone others just said they would call us back etc... We worked with Arnie, and while on vacation he came to our house, did the measurements, estimate, and even left a folder for us when we got back with their company info, references (extremely professional looking). Once we got back we sat down with Arnie and discussed pricing, which was the highest individual price for a contractor, however by very little, and that was mostly because of the warranty which very few contractors in this area can offer, small price for peace of mind. He was very low-pressure, and understood our situation with interviewing other contractors. The next day we decided to go with Jayhawk, and Arnie came out with colors and answered a few more of our questions. Within two days we recieved a called that the crew would be coming out on Monday (less than a week after initial meeting) to begin installing the new roof. The crew showed up around 7 in the morning, roaring to go. Your front and backyard will look like warzones when they take the old roof off, but their clean up efforts are unmatched. Over the course of the two day installation, Arnie was onsite for most of the installation and kept a very good eye on what was being done. They even took off the satillite dish that we didn't use (per our request). After about a day the installation was done, Arnie called to make sure we were happy with the roof. A rundown of what we got: Complete Roof Replacment (Around 2800 sq ft) 30-year Architect Shingles System Plus Warranty (rated at 130 MPH) I have already referred a couple of friends to them, and overall I was extremely pleased and by far the best experience I have had with any contractor since becoming a homeowner.

He did a really good job. He was professional. It appears he did a fine job. He voluntarily cleaned out my gutters for me. For someone who doesn't get on a ladder, I certainly appreciate it. Curtis Lawrence was the one who serviced my home.

they arrived on time and did a super job. my new roof looks GREAT! "Country" called us before putting on new plywood so we would know ahead of time that it would be a little more. They left no mess behind and were a pleasure to deal with. if i ever need a new roof this is who I will call. A++++++

Responded quickly, provided quick but not totally detailed estimate. Seemed professional and had good scores on AL. Only reason this contractor was not selecfted was that a competitor - also a Class A contractor - offerred some additional features at a better price and I had some personal experience with and knowledge of the competotor I ended up selecting. I would recommend JAYHAWK as a company to consider.

Contractor initially came out to look at a repair job I ended up doing myself. While the contractor was there I asked for an estimate to replace a piece of outside trim. Signed the estimate. Contractor was to do the work sometime the following week. That was over a month ago. I don't feel I should have to contact the company to inquire about the job. I would not and will not use them now if they did. Perhaps the job was too small for them.

Arnie gave a reasonable estimate and the team of four workers arrived as scheduled about a week and a half later. The team worked like dogs on a very hot day, finished the job and cleaned up all in the same day. The sub-contractors for the gutters came the next day and did their part.

The estimate was right on the money, there were no unexpected expenses. The job was started within the time frame expected. The workers arrived on time, worked ALL day in the horrible heat, the job was well supervised, if we had any questions they were answered. The job was promised to be done in 1 day and it was. They did an excellant job of cleaning the yard after they were finished. They knew that I have a dog that goes out back and they went over the backyard several times to check for nails. Roof looks beautiful. I was VERY impressed with these guys and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and would certainly use this company again.

I got 3 quotes and Jayhawk was the lowest for the features I wanted. He was slowest coming up with the bid, but I'm glad I waited. The other gutter folks had bids ranging from $3100 to $480. I wanted a gutter guard for the top roof, no gutter guard for the bottom, I can reach that easily. Jayhawk estimator was quick, polite and honest. He gave me a simple, no BS quote right then and there. As he was the last bidder and had the best price, I could sign the contract right then, no cash in advance. I felt a little nervous at the excellent price, but I had good vibes from the gentleman and Jayhawk had good reviews here. Communications were very good, he gave me a date that was pending on some parts. When the parts came in he called to let me know the date was good. Come install day, they showed up and did their job and they called the night before to make sure all was a go. Installation looks very nice, all debris were cleaned up. Has not rained yet, but it sure looks good to me. Thanks, Jawhawk!

Jay hawk Exteriors did an amazing job of putting on a new roof for my townhouse. I picked the 30 year Architectural shingles for my replacement roof and I could not be happier with the quality, look and professional installation. When it came time to choose a roofer I got 8 estimates and Jay hawk was not lowest or highest price but they provided best detailed answers to each question I had and took to the time to discuss all the options leaving it up to me to choose what I wanted for my home. Jay hawk's quote was in line with final cost and they provide reliable cost breakdown for the job. In fact the work was so good I am still having neighbors asking who my roofer was cause they want to call to get a new roof. I was provided a great price, quality installation, excellent cleaning for the work site, and most important of all was they did not stop the job until I was satisfied customer. Arnie and his crew were shining example of what good contractor work can be. My new roof is one of the best decisions I ever made with my house.

Arnie Ireland was excellent to deal with - very courteous and knowledgeable. Job was scheduled and started quickly, crews arrived early and were friendly. Work crew was professional and worked hard, they also did a good job of keeping the work area clean. Arnie supervised the work regularly and was responsive to my questions. Most of the work was done the week between Christmas and New Years Day, the remainder was completed the following week. The job was scheduled this way due to our old roof leak that had rapidly gone from minor to steady and Arnie was very accommodating in getting the work started right away. The roof looks great now and I'm not aware of any leaks. Overall I would highly recommend Jayhawk Exteriors and Arnie Ireland to anyone who wants good quality work done at a fair price. I had gotten several estimates prior to calling Jayhawk Exteriors and on a comparative basis they were offering the same work and quality of materials that other companies tried to charge more for.

From the first appointment for an estimate to the clean up of the repairs the staff and crew were professional. They made the process painless.

Arnie came out and inspected what needed to be done, explained what would be done and made suggestions on possible changes for ventilation. The quote also included a copy of their licenses, insurance and several letters of references, which I found very helpful. This was done within two days of our call for an estimate. He was very polite, professional, and there was no pressure. The work was scheduled within 10 days. They arrived promptly and covered whatever might need to be protected during the work. Everything was cleaned up, including the nails, when the work was completed, which was in one day! Everyone was polite, professional and I will definitely refer them to friends.

Jayhawk provided exceptional work and was the low bidder. The 4-man crew arrived a few minutes early along with a truck carrying the roofing materials. Within about 15 minutes work began and continued until finish. The entire job, starting with delivery of materials to clean-up concluding with finding nails that were in the grass took about 7 1/2 hours. All were courteous and professional throughout the entire proposal, contractual and work processes. For the questions I had during the work, one of the work crew would take the time to answer, but the other 3 continued to work like beavers. Excellent job! It doesn't get any better than this!!

From the time Arnie, a representative of the company visited us to provide an estimate until the new roof was in place, the job moved along like clockwork. The roof looks great; the work was completed in one day; not a piece of trash or a discarded nail could be found after the workmen finished. We needed new gutttering and Arnie arranged that. We are having our house painted and he said he would return while the painter is here, take down the guttering to give him access to the wood behind it and then put it back. This whole experience was a pleasure. My only regret is that I forgot to give Arnie the $250 discount coupon from Angie's List. My bad.

It went very well from start to finish. Very professionally done.

When they first came out to look at the problem, they took pictures and showed them to me so that they could show me the problem and not just tell me about it. On the day of the repair, they arrived on time and even finished earlier than expected. Because they finished early, I couldn't make it home to meet them with payment, so they trusted me to just call the office with my credit card information. Additionally, even though it wasn't in the estimate contract, they cleared the gutters around the area of the roof where they were working and didn't charge me for it either.

Chris, the salesman / foreman, sent me a proposal via FedEx shortly after I contacted him. He then called and spent an hour reviewing the four offerings, the products, and pricing. I called several times with questions, never had a problem contacting him and always received prompt answers. Work started as soon after signing the contract as weather allowed. The crew arrived as scheduled; Chris or the crew chief remained at the house at all times; and we chatted frequently about progress. I very much appreciated Chris' communication; he kept us very well informed of issues and progress and what to expect. Some of the downspouts required some creative installation and he and the installer did a great job developing a solution. The gentleman who installed the gutters painted the side of the house where he shifted one of the downspouts by several inches from the original location. He even offered to paint over the graffiti on the garage if I had had enough paint. Chris asked the roofers to fill some mortar on one of the chimneys and then to return a couple of days later to redo the flashing to improve the appearance. I especially appreciate the extra trim the carpenter put on the rake boards - nice touch. I was out of town for the final installation so Chris took pictures and sent them via email. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend Jayhawk.

We would recommend them as everything you would want in an honest, hardworking group.
