Great no trouble at all Finished in one day

All according to plan for the most part. Jayhawk was very patient with us as we worked through an insurance nightmare, and they performed the work as agreed.

I can't say enough good things about this business. Mike came out and gave a fair estimate for the work. I was more than pleased with his recommendations too. I have been working on my home for years and what I needed was someone who understood how important this was to me. I met with a half a dozen roofing companies but Jayhawk stood out above the rest. The roofing crew was at my home bright and early and took great care in looking after my property. Mike (the President of the company) came by throughout the day to make sure everything was going well. I have been recommending them to my neighbors and I will definitely do business with them again. This business cares about their customers and these days, that's hard to find. Mike even offered money saving ideas. This is a great company. I am so happy with my new roof and their professionalism is above the rest. Thank you JayHawk Exteriors!!!!

The siding is beautiful. A quality product for a reasonable price. The work crew was professional and detail oriented. The entire project was completed in the time allotted!

I called for a roof estimate and Jay explained that he wasn't the contractor for me. I appreciated his honesty and that he took the time to explain that he would be higher in price since his services wouldn't be ideal for what we needed done. He was straight up and an honest man and also gave me tips on what we should look for since we were selling our home and just needed a basic roof replacement.

I'll start with saying once your contract is paid in full...good luck trying to hear from them again. They showed up on time and immediately broke one of my landscape lights I told them was hard wired by trying to pull it out of the ground. No big deal. They said my pool would be covered but nobody maintained the tarp so they helped me dig out the old shingles out of the water. I can live with that. Luckily I was home because I immediately noticed they were installing the wrong shingle color. The correct color arrived within an hour which was impressive. Funny part was when they called the office to question my contract about the color instead of taking my word for it. Perhaps they thought I have a bad memory or that I'm color blind. Anyway job is done and roof looks great....now its time for my rebate. Here is where they went downhill. Turns out I don't actually need the invoice for the rebate but when someone says they will bring me the invoice (two weeks ago) and never shows up or refuses to return my phone calls then I have a problem with that. You may call their office numbers but they just keeping telling you how you don't need the invoice and that your warranty is all good to go with just a copy of the contract. Funny how everyone is so friendly and courteous until they have your money and the job is done. My recommendation is don't promise someone a copy of materials they paid for and not deliver. I would have rated them with all "As" if the professional courtesy was a little better after the job was done and paid for.

Work was done on an efficient and very timely sequential basis. Gutter issues did occur after installation due to unexpected, very heavy rainfalls and were resolved efficiently on a fast turnaround basis, with no hassle. Jeff, who has served as Project Manager/Estimator has been excellent to work with. He has also provided us with valuable guidance in helping us to resolve non contract but related water flow issues. I am very pleased that i selected Jayhawk Exteriors to do the work.

They were good. I have a ranch, so its a ginormous roof. So they also replaced all the gutters. I'm telling you what, they got ?up there and I thought they were taking a break for lunch and they had already stripped every bit of roofing off. They were done in 2 days. They were little workaholics. They would stop and get something to drink. They were up on that roof, God love em. I would use them again, in fact I recommended them to other people.

We had a very good experience. They did the work that we asked them to do. The price was reasonable. They came after Hurricane Sandy.

The contractor caused damage to our screen and never replaced it. The gutter people dumped the contents of the gutter out on our patio and did not clean it up. Nails were found all over the yard afterwards. We also had a coupon that they refused to accept. I expressed my issues to one of the owners of the company and he did NOTHING to rectify the situation. He got his money and went. Needless to say, we had to repair our own screen and clean up the mess that his people made.

Jayhawk provided me a quote on a GAF Silver pledge roof(10 year labor, 50 year shingle). The Salesman was very professional and provided me information about the roof with the quote. His quote was lower than what i expected to pay although I chose to go with someone else because they gave me an awesome quote with the GAF Gold pledge roof(25 year labor, 50 year shingle).

We had 4 companies quote a new roof and gutters for us and of those, chose Jayhawk. Arnie, our estimator, took the time to explain the process and discuss our options so we knew exactly what to expect. We found: - they're professionals and do quality work, and we're pretty picky about our house - they use some of the best roofing materials out there (GAF) - they paid attention and quoted exactly what we asked for (not all the contractors did) - they got the job done quickly (within a week of signing) - they take care of any concerns you have, on the spot if possible - the roofing quotes covered a 9% spread and Jayhawk was right in the middle, and quite a bit less on the gutters. Bottom line is Jayhawk has their act together. They know their business, are very easy to work with, and are truly interested in taking care of their customers. Highly recommended.

Jayhawk Exteriors removed and replaced the siding on my entire home, and wrapped the fascia on the second level. They began and completed the project on schedule. Jeff, Jose, and the team were attentive to my concerns and followed up on everything. They provided great work at a fair price. I will definitely contact them for future projects and highly recommend Jayhawk Exteriors!

Arnie was great to work with through the estimate process and Shaun was very attentive throughout the replacement. They showed up on time and worked very hard throughout the day with only a short break. There price was very competitive compared to my other estimates. Extremely satisfied. We would definitely refer to friends and neighbors. Price quote was fair and scheduling was done in a timely manner. Particularly impressed with the preparation before hand. Every effort was made to cover and protect landscaping throughout. The job was completed professionally and clean-up was exemplary. They did a very good job. On time, courteous, and left no mess. It wasn't a huge job, but if I needed gutters put in again I would definitely call them.

They're a very good company. They have good customer service. The guy I dealt with was a guy named Arnie. I'm not sure if he's there anymore. It was a good price & they did a very nice job. The workers were good. It was a rental property, so I wasn't there full time, but when I was there they seemed to be very nice.

Jayhawk went out of their way to not only put up quality siding in top notch workmanship, they were able to aesthetically find the siding, jade channeling, scalloping, and storm door colors my wife so much wanted. We regularly get comments about how great the house looks. Our new roof also looks good and it seems all past problems are solved.

Jayhawk Exteriors did our new complete roof replacement about 2 months ago. I have just been so busy, this is my first time to sit down and write the wonderful review they deserve. I am a very careful shopper and did a lot of research on the type of roof and the materials that would be used. Even though we are a one story house, we had a complicated problem of many leaks in an enclosed metal porch. The company that built our porch many years ago, stopped doing it the way they did ours because it was such a problem Jayhawk was able to fix that problem, and for the first time in quite a few years we now have no leaks. We had GAF architectural shingles installed. We had a roof vent system that we upgraded, along with the underlayment for the shingles; we chose Tiger Paw. “Chili” and his crew went above and beyond when they put up our roof. They did it in a day. When the inspector was up there about a week later he told me that the roofers had done a really good job. Chili, who is the owner of the company, did our free estimate, too. He thoroughly explained everything on our options. My husband and I are seniors, and this meant a lot to us. He and his foreman were always very patient with all of my questions. We watched as they did our roof. We had quite a bit of damaged wood due to previous water damage, some coming from ill-fitting roof vents of the previous roof. So the job needed to be done right and they did. Their price was the best out of the quotes I got. My 2 neighbors across the street also went with Jayhawk, just a couple weeks from when we had ours done. They are as happy with their roofs. Another house just houses away, chose Jayhawk to do their roof the day before ours. I would recommend Jayhawk as the best roofers I have found here in Hampton Roads.

Everything went well. Came in and did the work in a short amount of time. Cleaned up after themselves and were professional.

I spend a lot for my Roof, windows, Gutters and Siding. I am NOT completely satisfied with their quality of work. I paid premium cost for lower mediocre job. I may not consider hiring again and may not refer to others. Their honesty/integrity as well as overall job qualities are not admirable as expected. If you must hire them, I will suggest to write every single details on the contract and take pictures of every single thing that they are doing before, in progress and after. Otherwise , you will end up paying lot more than agreed price. I actually saved some amount questioning their work like that.
