They were prompt. Their price was fair. They have a good product. The price included 2100 sq. ft. of roofing and one gutter for an extra hundred bucks. It included the roof for the house, gazebo, shed, and garage extension. It was more than a normal house which was probably twelve or thirteen hundred feet. We had 2100 ft. for only $7700 with three dimensional shingles and good quality GF for a Master Roofer. We would use them in the future; they are on our list now.

Arnie and his team arrived even before the appointed time. They set up quickly and began work without delay, taking a break only for lunch. They were nothing short of amazing. They took off the old, replaced the necessary plywood, put in new skylights, installed a roof vent, and cleaned up completely (I could not find a single roofing nail left in the yard) by mid to late afternoon. Very professional and very efficient. The proof is in the pudding, as the saying goes, and the roof has not leaked, even with Sandy dumping a whole ton of water on us over several days. Jayhawk gets my vote for best roofers in the business. Their quote was right in line with 3 other roofing companies, smack in the middle, but there was only maybe $100 difference from the highest to the lowest anyway.

It was great. I was really impressed. The guys doing the job were here early in the morning and stayed till the night. After they got the paper off, they were using the leaf blower to blow the trash off before they put the roof on. They put tarps down to catch the trash and that was cleaned up daily. They replaced a large 6x4 double paned window that had been cracked. When they took it out they found a lot of water and termite damage; they did an excellent job with that. All in all he was about $3,000 cheaper then the other bids I got. It was excellent.

"Country" arrived on time. He told us twice that his card was the only card we would ever need. He said he would get back to us with an estimate. We thought the appointment went well and liked the fact that they do exterior work - not just windows. To date, we have never heard from him.

I'm short on time, so I'll just say that "D" WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Use these guys, you will not regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Work was performed quickly and professionally. Arrived exactly on time. Upon completion, performed a visual check on the remaining roof area to look for potential problem areas.

They were absolutely incredible from day one. They were professional. Not only did they do a good job, they resolved any problem and completely took control of everything. For instance, there was a problem with the siding supplier bringing the wrong siding, and there was a bit of damage to carve the effice on one of the siding. They worked it out with the supplier team and took care of it to make it right. It was just a really good experience.

Mike is excellent. He is very professional and reliable. Basically, the contractor’s family do the work, and they are good. They are there when they said they will. That is the exception in this area because there are a lot of contractors who said they will be there, but they do not show up.

Overall, the experience was as I would hope...tell the company your problem or what you think it is, they figure out what can be done to fix it, give you a quote and ASK YOU what time will work.

Overall I am pleased with the gutters JayHawk Exterior installed. The only down side has been that because I own a townhome there were a few problems in placing the down spouts. Now I am experiencing some flooding issues that will require service from landscaping.

The workers showed up on time and knocked it out in two days. The crew was skilled and professional. My house looks great!!!. Ran into some minor communication issues, language barriers. Overall I would hire them again and probably will for new roof and gutters. "Country" Higgins is a great asset to this company.

Larry Goff and his coworker called to set an appointment and actually arrived a little early. Larry inspected the roof and told me the repair wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I knew just enough about roofing to be totally confused! He described everything in detail using layman?s terms. Larry was very patient with all my questions, and they were extensive. When I didn?t quite have the whole picture, he took a different approach until I fully understood my options. All this was done in a very respectful way without talking down to me. He left to get the materials and returned at the agreed upon time. They were quick and thorough and left the yard immaculate, which was important because of my 14 year old dog. Larry fully explained all the repairs with me. They used the extra shingles to repair other shingles that were loose, cleaned my gutter, nailed down some flashing and a section of the gutter that was loose. As he was explaining the additional work I was holding back tears thinking of the additional cost that I couldn?t afford, however, all this was done at no additional charge and my cost matched my estimate to the penny! Where do you see that nowadays? I must explain that there was a major storm coming that afternoon and Larry was able to fit me in and actually finished as the rain and wind hit the area. I was concerned with the condition of my roof and making it thru hurricane season. Larry explained it was actually in better shape than I thought and I should be okay. He also explained options when it was time to replace the roof. I wish I could remember his coworker?s name, because he was just as thorough and patient as Larry and it was a joy to see this team work so well together. I had received another bid that was comparable, but just didn't have a good feeling about the contractor. I immediately felt comfortable with Larry Goff and could tell this team was trust worthy. My experience was one of the best that I've had with any contractor or company in a very long time. Not only will I use Jayhawk Exteriors again, I will always request and demand Larry Goff?s team. I recommend Larry Goff to everyone that I know that is in need of this type of work and leave their business cards at as many places as possible. It's good to know that people like Larry, his coworker and Jayhawk Exteriors still understand the meaning of providing the best customer service possible and meeting or exceeding your customers expectations. In addition to all this, Larry and his coworker were well spoken but very humble. When I kept thanking them for their patience and additional work, they both thanked me in return for choosing them as my contractor. They told me they were nothing without their customers and take their work and relationships with their customers very seriously. They assured me if I had any trouble to just call because they thoroughly stand by their work. KUDOS TO LARRY GOFF AND HIS COWORKER!!

Jayhawk Exteriors are friendly folks. Their price structure is good. They were punctual.

It didn't went very good. They did a good job on the shingles. I was not very happy with the ridge vents that were put in. Thought they could have been done better. But mainly the sky lights that we had replaced was a disaster and we are still working on it with them.

Mr IreLand came by on Monday 6 Aug 12. We finalize the paper work he told me that I would receive a call by friday and I did receive my called. I was told that the team would be at my home on the 13 Aug 12 at 0930, just as he said the term was right on time. The gentlemen was very professional, friendly and kind. It took them a little less than 3 hours to complete the work. They cleaned there mess and left it as they found it. What an awesome team.....

Got an estimate for a tearoff and replacement of my roof, plus replacement of some missing/damaged trim. had to wait a while to start the accept the bid due to other circumstances, but when I called a few months later to accept and schedule, everything went very smooth. Had a one-day delay in the crew starting the job, but was called a few days in advance to let me know of the start date change. Crew showed up promptly and completed all work in a day, including cleanup.

They did a really good job. They cleaned up after themselves. They did the job on a timely manner, and they showed up on time. However, my biggest complain about them is when they schedule their job. They have the actual person who is doing the job schedule it, and that can be a little lax. If you call on a Friday, you usually do not hear back from them until Monday; then he is already booked all the way till like Thursday.

From the estimate, to scheduling, to putting on the roof and cleaning up, Jayhawk did a great job. This was the first time we had replaced a roof, and it was less expensive and much easier than we had expected.

Larry Goff and his helper did a great job! They arrived on schedule and were finished in less than one hour. He told me on the day he gave me the estimate that he wasn't certified to wire the fan and that $250.00 was the minimum rate for the service call/installation. I agreed to his price and am very happy with the job. I have used Jayhawk Exteriors on a number of projects and they have always done an excellent job.

Jayhawk responded quickly to a call for a leak in my roof, took minutes to figure out and repair. He even checked/repaired another area of concern withouth hesitation....very nice..highly recommend!Have have a few bad storms since the repair and so far it's holding well. Thank you!

Arrived 30 minuter early. It was going to be 100 degrees that day so I understand starting early. Very professional. Discussed everything that was going to be done and asked if I wanted any changes before they started. Very quiet and fast. Completed the job in about 3 hours. Cleaned up their mess. Didn't even know they were there. They did a great job and I would call them back if I needed other projects done.

I had a vent pipe collar leaking due to deterioration of the material. I called at 8 am and a very nice lady answered, took my information and said one of the roofing teams would call to make an appointment to come and fix it. She didn't promise it would be fixed that day, but said the roofing team would make the appointment as soon as they were available. I lucked out. The roofer called later that morning and said he was already in the area and would stop by before going to another larger job across town. They arrived right after lunch climbed up and inspected all the vent collars and a few other areas that routinely develop leaks . He said everything was fine except the one item I had identified and it was quickly replaced. When he was done I asked him about another leak problem I had on the roof that I was expecting to be a significant repair. The roofer said it might not be as serious as I thought, climbed up again and found an open crack between the sheathing and fascia which was the likely source of the leak . I won't go into the precise details because it is involved (wind speed and direction), but I am fairly certain he fixed that leak also. He took about five minutes and didn't make any additional charge. So, I am very pleased with the response, professionalism, price, etc with Jayhawk. Especially since it poured that night. They could also have replaced all the vent collars unnecessarily, but didn't. You know; the old "you might as well get it done while I'm up here". I appreciate their efficiency and honesty. I would use them again.

We only had a small roof repair, but they were very responsive to our request none the less, and quite professional. He even took photos of the problem on the roof using his mobile phone to show me, and then took an 'after' picture to show me how it looked after the repair was completed. The price was very reasonable and he was finished quickly. We would definitely call them again.

We were told that the workers would be onsite at 7AM. They were there on both days and ready to work at 7AM. They did an excellent job on the roof as well as cleanup afterwards. At the last minute they had to install an attic fan because roof vents would not work. Arnie offered to go pick up the attic fan (at cost) and install it (no extra cost). They also painted the fan and new vent stacks to match the roof. A very nice touch. I would definitely recommend them.
