HOMETOWN PEST CONTROL

I am a property manager and have hired Home Town Pest Control to take care of many homes to keep them bug free. Hands down they are the best and most caring pest company out there. I have worked with different pest companies over the years. This company and the results you will get and dramatic as compared to the previous companies we have used. The caring personalities of their staff and technician is so appreciated. The tech gets to know the families of all our tenants and when to change their applications or how they treat. For example, my daughter was pregnant, so the tech changed what he used. We started container gardening in our patio so he changed the process to make triple sure he would not have chemicals near our growing vegetables. I have not had the annual ants that come each June or other visitors that would start coming after time had passed from a quarterly visit. The caring and the results that are consistent are what makes them stand out.

Tommy suited up and went to work clearing the nest out of our compost pile here in the middle of Virginia Beach. In spite of blasting away with a multitude of foggers and sprays, the little buggers were relentless in attacking him, getting him twice when his suit tightened up too much. We thought his price was very reasonable for removing such a large hazard to us and our pets. We would not hesitate to call them again.

We had a rat in a vacant rental and Hometown Pest Control was able to capture and remove it. They are very friendly and professional. Excellent customer service. They kept me updated every step of the way and let us know when they were going out to the house and exactly what work was performed while there. They also have a great portal that sends you emails with the time the technician went out, who the technician was, what was done, amount due. It is really great.

Excellent. I was scheduled promptly which I really appreciated because I don't like bugs in my home. Young lady (can't recall her name) showed up on time and was very friendly. She treated the inside and outside and explained what I could expect following the treatment. I signed up for the quarterly service and was informed that they would come out free of charge between treatments if I needed it. Can't ask for better than that. Highly recommend them!

Their technician Joey Weathersbee was on time, extremely thorough and professional. He not only did the termite inspection we had purchased but also gave us advice on a problem have been having with ants.

During a rainy period, we ran into a pest problem at the rental property. Several mice found their way into the crawl space and up into the attic. Hometown sent a technician over right away to address the issue and again a week later as follow-up. We've had no problems since. They addressed all of my concerns and the concerns of the tenants. They communicated with everyone involved. The technician also made a number of recommendations to help us get rid of the conditions that caused the problem in the first place. The additional visits were covered under our quarterly service agreement. I highly recommend Hometown Pest Control! Responsive, professional, and affordable!

We used them even before they changed their name, which was Metropolitan Pest Control. They come out for us once a year. I spend 90.00 each service. They have been doing it for us for so many years and I have not had any pest issues. Right now I called them this morning and they will be coming out for us on Monday to treat for water bugs. Their employees always show up on time and when we are not home when we do come home we can’t even tell that they have been here. They are the only ones that I use. They always call us ahead of time to let us know when they are going to be here also.

Entails extermination and pest-control for a two story house and yard. Hometown is always prompt with their service and complete the servicing in the allotted amount of time. They're very friendly and courteous and always clean up after themselves. The service is $60 per quarter and that includes return visits in case of infestations. I will continue to use this service I have used it for the past three years do their excellent professionalism and service.

They come out quarterly for basic pest control. They have great service. The employees are also great and we have no problems with them at all. They have very reasonable prices and great quality. Every time we call they come right out; they also call to remind me quarterly to when it is time to schedule an appointment. They are on time every time and if they have an issue they call me to give heads up. They are very professional and the guy who comes out is always knowledgeable and pleasant. We continue to use them and I would recommend them to anyone.

They are very good and personable. They show up on time and always call ahead and are here for at least half an hour. The last three times they even crawled under my home to check for pests too. They come out quarterly for me. The first time I had them come out, they did pest control for rats; they put out traps and we never caught any, but I have not any issues with rats since. I also had an ant issue and they took care of that and I've had no troubles with ants after that either. Whatever they did to take care of that, they did a great job at it. They are good at tackling whatever pests come their way. The guy who comes out for me is very personable; I work from the home a lot and he is cautious of if I am on the phone and leaves the invoice to the door so he doesn’t disturb me. He has good manners and dresses appropriately. The biggest thing is that they come on time! They give you a 2 hour window, and give you a heads up call 30 minutes before they come.

We had quite a bit of work done by the original company because we had termite damage, and they did a good job. So we just continued to have them come and check every year. We like it because they come while some of them don’t. We only see them once a year, and so we don’t know if they change their staff or keep the same people. We think their price is probably typical. They’re pretty reliable and a high quality company. They are quite responsive and they’re always on time.

They did some extended work a year ago and I would say it as a special kind of treatment. Their price is quite reasonable compared to what other people are paying.

I have been with them for 10 years. They come in and spray once a year and the bugs don't bother me, so they do a good job with that. The price keeps going up each year. Most of the time, they come when I am not here, and just leave the bill. They are really nice and knowledgeable. They do a good job. They are punctual, responsive, and professional. The price is competitive. They come when they say they are coming. I will continue to use this provider.

They were timely. Everything was fine. We haven't seen the results of the work yet.

Another company had identified a problem with termites on the door to the crawlspace of my mother's house. I thought their price was rather high. I called Hometown, as I use them for my house and asked for their opinion and price. Their technician came that day and inspected. He said there were termites in the crawlspace door, because it was made of untreated lumber, but he did not see any other termite activity except in that location. He gave us two options: one to treat the side of the house where the door was and to replace the door, or two: treating underneath and outside perimeter of the house and replacing the door. The first option came with a one yr warranty, the second option came with a 5 yr warranty, IF we paid $90 per year for an annual inspection. The other company gave a one yr warranty, with $180 per annual inspection. We furnished the door and the tech installed it. He also removed the remains of something long dead that was under the house. He also arrived exactly when the company said he would, both for the initial inspection and for the treatment.
