Home Run Appliance Service

Had a problem with a brand new LG dryer. Called LG and they assigned this service provider for warranty work. LG scheduled me for Tuesday of the next week. Home Run called on the intervening Saturday and said (with no small amount of exasperation) that LG didn't know his availability and he wouldn't be able to get to me until Wednesday. Little annoying, but not really his fault and fortunately Wednesday was just as good for me. He showed up in the window scheduled and had the issue fixed in no more than 15 minutes. Not the most personable guy, but seemed to know what he was doing.

Brian answered my call right away and scheduled an appointment. He arrived during the window of time he gave me. He quickly confirmed the problem was the compressor and called me back the next day to say he had the part in stock. Brian then returned to my house the following day, again arriving during the time frame he gave me and was able to accommodate around my work schedule. He did the work quickly and professionally and my refrigerator is now working fine. I would not hesitate to call on Home Run Appliance for future repairs and would definitely recommend him to others.

I called twice and left message, but I never heard back from him. Could be he couldnt take a look at my garbage disposal as I asked in the message, but I would have liked to hear back

tried one fix, but it didn't hold. My choice, it was cheap to try. So had to order a modular part and come back. Brian has been here several times over the years. Once for the old, old dishwasher: replaced a motor. Twice for the clothes dryer. Replaced a timer once. Put in new rollers the second time to quieten the beast. Didn't laugh at me trying to do it myself and having to correct my assembly error. Lots of experience, with a lot of different brands. Good to talk to before you buy an appliance. Carries a good supply of parts on his truck. Cleans up after himself. Always appropriate. I'd leave him in the house alone.

He had to come out twice. First time out he thought he had fixed the issue but after a few days the ice starting building back up. I called to inform him that the issue was not fixed and we rescheduled an appointment. He came back out to look it over again, and at first couldn't figure it out, but he was very diligent and finally found the problem and it was fixed. He is very polite, courteous, and very clean-cut in his appearance. I would call him again if I had any more applicance issues. He missed one appointment due to a prior job taking to long, but he did call to inform of it and he ran a bit late on the other call.

This one was a tough one. Byran continued and it was completely resolved. We have so much ice! Want some. He was diligent and made sure we were repaired. I did have a new house insurance policy but would invite Home Run to fix any issues in the future.

We were referred to Home Run because the two small appliance repair companies we called on Angie's List near our home did not work on LG appliances, and one of them referred us to Home Run. We called and left a message for him, and he called back within a few hours, and then gave us a 30 minute window during which he would show up for his first visit. He was on time, worked efficiently and then confirmed we needed a new control board. He told us how long it would take for the part to arrive, and the board arrived as he predicted. He arrived for the second visit within the 30 minute window he provided the day before. He was professional, and spoke when he needed to speak, but would not be described as warm and engaging. A month after the repair we have had no problems with the microwave, and would not hesitate to call Home Run again.
