Description of Work: I have used this Sears referred service provider in the past. When I called they checked my record for me, and explained that the breakdown I was describing should be covered under warranty. The only charge to me was for the service call, parts and labor time were not charged. The company was very customer oriented, I did not start the conversation with a question about warranty coverage - they checked it out without prompting. The service was on time, at the time I requested. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: Mark Lehman of Garage Door Enterprises corrected a problematic garage door that for several months had been shimmying when closing and in the past day had simply stopped working. Specifically, Mark arrived hardly more than one hour after we requested an appointment via the phone. Within a few seconds of looking at the door he determined we did not need new springs as I had thought but instead needed new pulleys because the ball bearings of the pulleys were shot. He then replaced a cable he noticed was frayed and took the initiative in lubricating ball bearings on all pulleys and also on all hinges on not only the problematic door but also a second garage door.

Description of Work: SUPPLY AND INSTALL: 16 X 7 2283 FULLY INSULATED 2" STEEL BACK, SILVER IN COLOR 1 1,200.00 1,200.00 12"R, TORSION REMOVE AND HAUL OF OLD ITEMS. Although the original date scheduled for installation did not happen as planned. (The delivery truck transporting the door did not deliver on time for some reason) Jonathan did informed me of the problem promptly and another install day was set. Had to reschedule for two days later. On rescheduled install date they arrived an 1 1/2 before scheduled appointment time, but I wasn't called until they arrived and I wasn't home at the time. They came back after originally scheduled time to complete the work. They were very efficient regarding tear down and install and helpful with information about painting the door, should we choose to match it better to our current house color. Jonathan honored their Angie's list coupon, although install date ended up occurring outside of coupon expiration date. Mark, the service and install associate is always very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable during previous repair work we have had done on the electric opener and former garage door. He helped suggest a door that would help address our concerns and fit our budget. Pleased with install. I didn't watch the install, but was on site and felt comfortable with the performance of the door operation before they left.

And not only did he replace the springs, he added a ball bearing coupling [for free] and he made sure the new springs were going to last around twenty thousand revolutions. Most door spring installed are only rated for half that amount, and if you open you door four times a day, you might get seven years out of the springs. But what if your garage door is the main point of entry and you are in and out seven times a day? You might get four years out of your spring.

Description of Work: The first report was for authorized work on my neighbors house. This job was for work on my garage door. Twelve worn metal rollers were replaced with vinyl covered rollers, the bolts on the door were tightened and the door was lubed.

Description of Work: My neighbor could not get her garage door open this morning, and she called to ask me for help so she could go to work. When I arrived, I immediate noticed on of the lift springs had broken. I gave her a ride to work, and we talked to the company on the way. They picked up our call immediately, and arranged to arrive that morning to replace the springs. I also had to move her car out of the garage for the work to be done. My neighbor authorized me to allow the work to proceed.
