Outstanding company and customer service! Byron is fantastic! Gave of his time on a holiday weekend just to give me piece of mind and guidance on an issue I was having. He came in after the holiday weekend and quickly and efficiently took care of the problem. I will definitely be using him again!

Dispatcher set up appointment to troubleshoot and repair a ground fault interruption problem at my home on same day I submitted request. Tech (Jason) was very polite, very professional and troubleshot problem to a 33 year-old faulty receptacle on the circuit. Replaced receptacle and verified proper conduct of GFD on the circuit. I'd rate Excellent but the price was fair, but not inexpensive. Plumbers and Electricians are not cheap.

My wife said he was very professional. Even gave us some suggestions on electrical updates to do at a later date

Electrician showed up early, and proceeded to give me an over priced estimate. (Which he never e-mailed it to me as promised) [Unprofessional]. I don't like when I can't get a quote over the phone and then the tech shows up and tries to rip me off. I ended up doing it myself and saving alot of money. Just news to note for the DIY don't get ripped off by these techs, it's not worth it!

They were amazing. The lights and vent came out great. Mr. Electric of Chesapeake went above and beyond in our project. Mr. Byron was the technician helping and he was very informative and had great communication with us during the project. Byron Baker and a helper called ahead of time, arrived promptly (within the original three-hour window and about 20 minutes after the call) and reviewed my concerns. He then explained what he had to do and how he would go about it. Please note, of 4 companies that I called, Mr. Electric of Chesapeake was the only one willing to come out a provide a free estimate. Since the estimate was better than the phone quotes I received, I authorized him to proceed with the work. He began by troubleshooting the doorbell system. He found the following: found no power on secondary / low-voltage side of transformer. There was 120 V on primary side. Found wire to transformer not connected. (In layman’s terms, the transformer had been shorted out). Removed and reinstalled Ring doorbell and found that the diode had not been installed properly. Installed new transformer and corrected wire connections and restored power to the doorbell system.

The technician I had was Jason Baker he was exceptional! He made sure to thoroughly inspect everything. Any question I had he answered anything I needed to understand he explained. He was amazing and very professional.

Jason was very professional, he installed my RING in minutes! Very familiar with the product which is a great plus! Will definitely be calling Jason for all of my electrical needs.

Great. After a basic diagnostic it was discovered that there was an additional problem with another light switch. The service man was professional, neat and explained the problems and the solutions. Repairs were made and everything is working fine now. The dispatcher was very professional also. She was very detailed in what to expect. She also said an e-mail with a picture of the electrician would be sent so as to identify him when he arrived. He placed a doormat down before he entered the house and wore bootys. I'd hire them again in a second!

Upon arriving on time Bryon introduced himself to me and gave me his business cards then ask me what could he do for me? Let me start off by saying that there aren't to many service technicians or repairmen that will explain to you what they are doing without making you feel that you are interrupting their work. Bryon provided me with an estimate that included all my discounts prior to making any repairs, after the installation/repair he cleaned up the area and hauled off all old electrical wiring and cables. My wife and I were very pleased with his service and will continue to use Mr. Electric in the near future! Thank you Mr. Electric!

GREAT! The technician listened closely and understood what I needed then explaied what he could do to stay within the NEC code. A solid plan was developed, and incremental displays of progress were accomplished. A day's worth of work for the 2 man crew.

Byron is a super electrician!!!! He is very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and just a nice person. The customer service/scheduler representative on the phone was soooo helpful in getting their electrician and the repair technician at my house at the same time to ensure that the damage was repaired. The damage was paid for by Vivint, whose original technician damaged my doorbell transformer. I highly recommend Mr. Electric and particularly Byron.
